What I love about the animation of "Surface Pressure" is that we not only see all the metaphors of Luisa carrying the different tasks, but we also see it in her behavior. Show dont tell.

During the song always shields Mirabel, she always rights her hair and puts her glasses back on even while theres a metaphorical not-so metaphorical tornado coming or after they fall.

The song tells us she carries every family burden but the details show her protectiveness. She is the bigger sister she cares about her younger sister and she makes sure shes safe and comfortable even while the world is literally breaking apart because thats all that matters in the moment...
