It all started with Vader. And those haunting metal wings.

I didn’t realize how many of these I actually created! There was just so much going on this year and art really is my escape, my chance to explore, and my chance to emote safely. While I have a lot on my mind in terms of emotional expression for more recent event of my life. I’m really glad I had this project as an exploration on world symbolism of birds and practice with Krita.

I really am thankful for @jasontoddiefor for not only creating and writing such vivid and emotional works for the Star Wars fandom. But for his encouraging comments and enabling my creativity.

I know there are more Characters and Series I need to catch up on. Along with Comics and other media. But I’m delighted with what I’ve completed so far. And may spend the next year expanding with more side/main characters. I’m not sure I’ll do it yet. But I’m open for it!

Fortunately, Luke's unwavering faith in his father's innate goodness had proved to be a stronger force than the power of the dark side. Obi-Wan recalled what Qui-Gon Jinn's spirit had told him so long ago, when he said that Obi-Wan was not ready, and that he failed to understand. For so many years, Obi-Wan had thought Qui-Gon meant that he wasn't ready to comprehend details about Anakin's conversion to the dark side. But now, he finally understood his Master's words. I wasn't ready to forgive Anakin. And he won't be entirely free unless I do. Unfortunately, just as Obi-Wan realized that Anakin Skywalker lived, he  also knew that Anakin would not live much longer. As Luke hauled his diying father toward a shuttle, Obi-Wan's spirit shifted his own psyche to another realm. And he waited. After Anakin died in his son's arms, Obi-Wan called out into the void, "Anakin."

!Luminous beings are we; not this crude matter! As published in 1983, Anakin quoted Yoda moments before death! Also, Anakin had wished he could thank Yoda and Obi-Wan for training his boy. This scene from Return of the Jedi is so special for me because in the medium of movies about heros who save the day killing or stoping their enemies, Star Wars, in this episode, stands apart from others movies because of the way in which Luke chooses to save the day, is by having mercy of his father, and his father becomes himself once again, gets back his humanity not just by the act of stopping Palpatine, but by having mercy of his Son. George Lucas said how the Prequel Trilogy is a story of how a person losses himself and becomes a victim but the Original Trilogy is a story of both how Luke finds his journey and the old hope, Vader, finds his humanity once again and this scene symbolises that in a very beautiful way.
