These Pomegranate Honey Wings are sweet, sticky, and bursting with flavor. The marinade infuses the chicken with a delightful blend of sweet and tangy notes, while the pomegranate juice adds a unique fruity twist. Perfect for parties or as a tasty snack!
Ingredients: 2 lbs chicken wings. 1 cup pomegranate juice. 1/4 cup honey. 2 tbsp soy sauce. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tsp ginger, grated. Salt and pepper to taste. Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish.
Instructions: To make the marinade, put honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper in a bowl and mix them together. Pour the marinade over the chicken wings in a bag or container that can be closed again. Put the food in the fridge for at least two hours or overnight after sealing it up. Turn on the oven and heat it up to 400F 200C. Take the wings out of the marinade and save the extra marinade to use as a basting sauce. Put the wings on a baking sheet that has aluminum foil or parchment paper on it. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping the wings over once, or until they are crispy and cooked all the way through. Put the marinade you saved into a small saucepan while the wings are baking. Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, until it gets a little thicker. When the wings are done, brush them with the marinade that has thickened. Then, add chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy while hot!
