Arthur loves music. He found a ukulele in a muggle pawn shop during the summer holidays between his 3rd and 4th year, and taught himself to play through books from the library. He’s gotten quite good at it.
Another thing Arthur loves is to sing. You’ll often find him humming a happy tune as he walks down the halls, or singing loudly in the shower in the morning or after a match. The thing is, Arthur is a pretty terrible singer. His singing voice could be classified as a mid baritone - if he was on pitch half the time. This doesn’t matter to Arthur, however. He just loves to sing and doesn’t care if he doesn’t sound pleasing to others. It makes him happy.
ARTHUR WEASLEY MOODBOARD ( 1 / ∞ ) - Arthur Hugo Weasley - In a nutshell.
❝ I know I can’t sing, it doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy it. ❞
( headcanon —— cigarettes )
Lily’s “wild” summer, between her fifth and sixth year, didn’t only make her start enjoying the occasional drink. In hopes of forgetting what had happened with Severus, the girl had desperately tried to get away — socializing with the muggle kids she lived close to instead of the wizard boy she had been so hurt by. Most of her new-found friends had been smoking for years, always surrounded by a cloud of smoke anywhere they went; cigarettes dangling off lips and being passed around as if it were nothing. Soon, she too had a fag stuck between her lips and before she could realize it, she had fallen into a routine, lighting cigarette after cigarette as conversations progressed well into the night, sometimes into the first hours of sunshine.
It was a habit she took on quickly and, to this day, has no intention of quitting: it helps her calm down when she’s nervous, she likes the tarry taste it leaves on her lips and something about the grey smoke against a darkened sky makes her smile, the patterns beautiful and haunting. For the next two years of school, and while she did know, however, that she couldn’t do it at Hogwarts, the redhead saved packs all summer, hiding them in the bottom of her trunk along with a silver lighter she nicked from her dad.
i can understand wanting a cigarette in my hand, then my mouth,
then my hand again. holding the cigarette. tending to the cigarette. giving the cigarette what it needs. tapping it in the ashtray. sucking on it. and then flicking it in the street, like it meant nothing to me.

❝ I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother I'm a sinner, I'm a saint, I do not feel ashamed
"Realising life ain't all about burritos and strippers, it's a struggle out there and it ain't looking pretty so far."
[ In her drunken state, Stubby’s words echoed in Lily’s head as if he had just told her that there was no afterlife, and that life itself had no meaning. She has no idea why she was so outraged but she was—— so much so that she stopped in her tracks, firewhiskey spilling on the floor. ]
——— “ What do you mean, life isn’t all about bur— burr— those food things?! And why is life not about strippers? What is life about, then? “
“ You kept calling me baby Jesus and trying to see what wise men had to say about my hair… “
[ Her head was banging, her mouth dry and she was sure she had a massive bruise on her leg——hearing about the thousands of embarrassing things she’d done in the party wasn’t helping at all. She shot the Slytherin an apologetic smile, bringing a hand up to rub her eyes. ]
——— “ Erm— sorry about that, really. But in my defense, your hair really is something to look at. And I’m sure wise men would have a lot to say about it ( ... ) . “
“And he’s a cuddle champ. I know because I slept over because I don’t know what boundaries are.“
It was hard to do multiple things at once in their inebriated state, but Drom managed to listen to what Remus was telling them whilst turning to check out the boy he was trying to set them up with. He was attractive but just not for them.
“And he’s a cuddle champ. I now because I slept over because I don’t know what boundaries are.”
For what seemed like the 10th time that night, Drom choked on their drink. “I love you, Remus.” Drom coughed, eyes watering, “You’re my favourite - don’t tell the others.”
