ABQ has been really fun and there’s been some minor hiccups but nothing major— we drove through a snowstorm(?) I mean, not storm- but just constant snow coming down for 6 of the 9 hours of the drive. When we got here we had to wait a bit to check in cause we were early (haha too efficient driving!) and then we had the evening to explore and settle in a bit (and stress over papers and presentations) so we had diner at Farina’s Pizzaria (it was so freaking good) and shared gelato. Then quick Walmart trip. And then we came back and chilled a bit before freaking out and running those presentations 🤦🏻‍♀️ well, me and Genevieve discovered was have a beautiful view of the mountains from our window (pics to come) and that there is a channel for watching other hotels be advertised and those hotels look so damn good 👌🏻👌🏻😂😂😂 we watched the whole cycle before it restarted lmao Cut to today— all of our panels were amazing. Like... I know I should be humble, but like, Genevieve especially KILLED it in her presentation even when the sound when out and Baylee was thrown into a new panel time and mixed with other panelists and it was kinda a mess, but she handled her part well, and my panel was a blast to present and interact with the audience afterwards because speaking about Kesha also makes me happy so... I dunno what the point of this post is, but New Mexico is making me really happy.
