The Elder Tree was so cool.
A tiny Sylvan and an even smaller Shea!
The gentle giant definitely finds the keeper interesting. And adorable. The sort of adorable that makes him want to pick them up and squeeze them.
I've been working on something that will take more time than usual to complete. My brain couldn't help but get me side-tracked to draw this very quick sketch!
Virtue's End and Shea belong to @crimsiswrites !
Sylvans
If you find yourself in the woods, and you look carefully, you may find what appear to be small dolls in the periphery of your vision. They are made of stick and moss and leaves and lichen. Do not touch them, for they do not like to be held. The sylvans are a proud, if diminutive people. They care only for the woods that birthed them and protect the wilderness from those who would put it to the axe or fire. But if you care for the trees and leave small offerings, then you may find help at unexpected times. Small birds guiding to the wooded path you had wandered from. Chattering squirrels warring you of dangerous beasts ahead. Their ways are subtle and hard to ascertain, but if you respect their home then they will see you safe to yours.

Fun fact that helps me include some my OCs into ToA:
Karma is actually (not by choice) related genetically to Nari and Skrael, because back in the ice age when they were creating her from human, they used stole/given DNA of Skrael and Nari, which gives her her powers and her eye style.
Mint (Karm's and Aaarrrgh's second child) is genetically closest to Nari and Skrael thanks nature control, growing plants, creating life from nothing and bringing life back.
Taradax is under servant to Nari because she created mother of the trees: blind Sylvan Freya. Sylvans were supposed to watch over trees as they were actually walking trees. (NOPE, nothing related to Groot, I made it sure).
Icar is son of past (OC) Trollhunter, thanks which he (quite) hates them
Taradax and Angor(back in his hero days) knew of each other briefly and as it happens, legends meet, talk, and test if what is told is true.
That's.... All I can think of now... I think. I have almost 30 OCs so it's getting hard to remember.
Also today in my DArpg game we got attacked by sylvans. Two mages in the party. Not one. Single. Fire. Spell.
And I’m literally a primal mage lmao
