I’m binging your story TG3, and just got to chapter 7 where Horror shows up.

I’m trying to clarify something:

I’ve accepted that most people don’t know about Axetale, so when I see Horrortale Sans in a story I’ve accepted that he’ll probably be named Axe (I personally don’t call him that, because I LOVE Axetale; he’s just Horror to me).

I’ve also accepted that Horror uses an axe in almost every story (even though canon is more like a cleaver, not an axe - and technically that’s not even his fighting weapon, which is more like an oversized femur) … photo of gameplay that Sour Apple Studio made

And your story is tagged Horrortale…

But here’s the part I get confused… Axetale Sans specifically uses an axe made with a spine as a handle, and is the only AU that has that canon.

What I’m trying to clarify, is that this is Horrortale Sans - or your version of him? Or kinda a mash-up?

I just want to be thinking of the right boy…

Sorry if this is confusing, and also sorry if I sound like an AU snob 😕 I have similar issues when people mix up FellSwap for SwapFell - adding the color (____fell red, or purple) helps me figure out which (and at risk of sounding like a snob again, there is a difference between them in not only personalities, but the whole rules/atmosphere of their respective Undergrounds).

axe in this fic is purely horrortale. i used the detail of the spine for his weapon because i thought it was cool, it has nothing to do with axetale.

as for the whole swapfell/fellswap thing, black is purely swapfell.

whereas mutt can be seen as a mashup between swapfell and fellswap.

again, you're not a snob, i'm more than happy to clear up anything that might confuse you. however, for future reference i always mix up some aus from canon to make it interesting, so consider every skeleton a little out of character. just to keep from any confusion <3
