Science: The Periodic Table

If you memorize the periodic table it will speed you up if you're a chemist, but by and large, the reason you have a periodic table is so that you can store that information outside of your body. That way it frees up some part of your brain to do something else...

Aziraphale: the Co is my assistant. He deals with especially annoying customers. Would you like to meet him?

Customer: oh. Um, yes, sure, why not *expects Aziraphale to call someone, or fetch someone, or smth*

Aziraphale: *takes out a big chunk of cobalt*

Customer: *runs away as fast as they can*

Aziraphale, calling after them: THAT IS A CHUNK OF COBALT! ON THE TABLE OF ELEMENTS IT IS WRITTEN AS CO! DO YOU GET THE JOKE????!!!!????? *giggles, beaming to himself*
