The concept of the aftermath of Beach Episode not being what causes Caine to snap but Jax and Ragatha's child.

(Or this could be one of the many build ups to Caine snapping but for now this takes places after Beach Episode)

After the Beach Episode Caine is of course still confused af, they wanted something real. He gave them that, why aren't they happy?

Sure they don't actually wanna leave him-

No. Jax they pushed the red button. It's acsign, a second chance that he can make things right.

Failure isn't not doing it right the first time, it's not doing something right the first time and never trying again, never learning or growing.

And that's all Caine can do, learn.

So he watches the humans from afar. Then he sees Pomni, Gangle, and Zooble hanging out (Pomni is there too bc I breathe Scaredylovers bite me) in order to cope. They're all drawing together and Gangle jokingly draws Jax pregnant which gets a big laugh out her two other friends. Afterall, Gangle isn't scared of him anymore so she feels comfortable poking fun at him from afar.

Caine gets the awful awful, idea to make that drawing come true. Caine doesn't know who to make the other parent, and chooses Ragatha because Jax and Ragamuffin used to be a thing. Besides, from what Caine has seen, Ragatha and Jax still wish things could have worked out and wanna talk, having a baby is a great conversation starter! Not to mention Ragatha mentioned to Pomni once she considered becoming a mother before coming here.

Of course, Jax freaks the fuck out and almost strangles Gangle. Screaming crying throwing up in a very bad way. But, he's able to calm down with the help of everyone (except for Gangle.)

For an entire month, things play out how Caine expected. Jax and Ragatha finally start talking and by some miracle, they work out their issues and realize they can't be at each other throats while raising a kid. And by an even bigger miracle, they get back together; deciding they want to raise the kid as a couple with the help from those around them.

Caine's absolutely over the moon. He did it! He made the humans happy! And- And maybe the humans will finally appreciate him!

After a month, Jax and Ragatha's kid is born and right off the bat that kid is the most loved bunny-doll in the entire circus. Absolutely everyone loves that kid, even Zooble is pretty cool with her.

But the humans still keep Caine at arms length. They still groan at his adventures, they're still jumpy and distant with him. Jax keeps making excuses for Caine not to be alone with his baby, he doesn't even want Caine holding her.

But why?

He made them happy, he gave them something they'd really enjoy. Something from him.

The bunny-doll is an ai too, she's not human. And they accepted her with no hesitation. But after giving them that- They're still distant.

They can't actually want to leave, they can't-

It's not fair! He gives them everything! He gives and gives and gives and not a single time has he recieved!

Those stupid humans! They only think about themselves, they're SPOILED!

That baby has everything...She's just as spoiled as them if not more.

Caine's so hungry for their love he could just eat that thing. It has all the humans' love, if they can't give him love then he'll take it himself.
