Manjiro began to notice the change in your behavior, having the impression that you were hiding something, he knew, at that point he was almost sure that you were expecting his baby.

"Don't lie to me..." He held you, making you completely vulnerable, tears came down his face, Manjiro was really scaring you.

"M-manjiro, stop, please..." You just closed your eyes, expecting the worst and fearing for your son's life, but, unexpectedly, Manjiro let you go, giving you a hug full of affection, you remained silent, watching him place his hand on your belly.

"A-are you... pregnant?" Your heart beat faster, a feeling of despair took over you, but it was too late. "I'm sorry... I'm sorry but, it's true, I-I'm expecting your baby." Silence took over the room, being broken by Manjiro's inconsolable crying.

"Thanks." He said through tears. "Please take our baby away from me, I don't want to hurt you..." That was the last thing you heard from Manjiro before he told you to leave.

𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐮 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐲𝐨

You tried to hide all the symptoms so that Haruchiyo wouldn't notice, until the day you were having dinner together and you felt sick, as soon as you got up and went to the bathroom because of nausea, at that moment he already knew that you were pregnant.

"Love? are you ok?" He walked into the bathroom, seeing you sitting on the floor crying.

"Be honest with me... You're pregnant, aren't you?" Haruchiyo said as he helped you get up, your crying only intensified at that moment, confirming Sanzu's question, he remained silent, looking at you and stroking your face, it was definitely not the reaction you expected from him.

"Were you scared to tell me? I-I'm so sorry." Sanzu hugged you, then he walked away and at that moment you expected the worst possible reaction.

"I'm really angry that you're making your mother sick, we have to take care of her together, do you hear your father?" He said hugging and placing a small kiss on your belly, giving a smile of relief from you, later getting up and giving you a long kiss.

𝐊𝐚𝐤𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐨 𝐇𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐨

Kakucho was always very attentive to you, for that reason, it didn't take long for him to suspect that you were pregnant, his doubts were only confirmed the day you ended up in the hospital because of a faint.

As soon as he found out about your hospitalization, he went to visit you, but as soon as he arrived in the room you were in, he saw you doing an ultrasound and listening to your baby's heart, as soon as you noticed his presence, your heart accelerated, Kakucho was standing at that door crying with a smile on his face, he went into denial for a moment, his emotion upon hearing your baby was so great that he couldn't even contain himself.

"Y-you're really pregnant, our baby is so small, so fragile... We're going to have a baby, I can't believe it!" He approached you, holding your hand and telling you through tears, he was shaking and couldn't even look away from the image of the baby.

"That was the best gift you could have given me, thank you darling! Now you're no longer the only love of my life." He kissed your hand, his reaction left you completely in love, you were sure at that moment that despite everything, you chose the right father for your baby.

𝐑𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐮 𝐇𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐢

Rindou and you were in the room listening to some songs together when you started to feel sick, as much as you were trying to hide your pregnancy, Rindou had already noticed at that moment.

"Shit, aren't you going to tell me you got pregnant?" He said in a serious tone, looking directly at you, you looked at him scared, but you would have to tell the truth. "I'm sorry Rin..." You just confirmed his question, Rindou was completely shaken by the news and you could only hope for the worst.

"I'm not going to be a good father..." He said in a low tone, shaking his head in denial and trying to hide how disappointed he was. "I'm sure you'll be a great father, Rin." Everything suddenly became silent, almost as if time had stopped, Rindou hugged you, then placed his hand on your belly and caressed you with a smile on his face.

"I'll do my best for you, you and this little one boy... Or little one girl! Ran will love knowing he's going to be an uncle."

𝐑𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐢

Ran You definitely won't find out about your pregnancy that easily, but as soon as he saw you feeling sick in front of him, something in his intuition made him realize your pregnancy.

Holding your hair as you finished throwing up, he couldn't help but ask you.

"You are pregnant?" He asked the question with a worried expression, seeing you feeling sick and thinking about the fact that you were carrying that weight alone made him completely sensitive, fearing for Ran's reaction, you just nodded your head.

"You should have told me earlier!" He shouted at you, making you even more scared.

"Forgive me... I didn't mean to yell at you." Ran hugged you, being careful in his embrace, he was already getting used to the presence of your baby, knowing that he would have to change his behavior for you.

"...My angel, my girlfriend and future wife, you made me a complete man!" He said, still hugging you, Ran proposed to you at that same moment and promised himself that regardless of anything, he would be the best father your baby could have. "Rindou is going to spoil this child so much..." Ran said with a smile on his face.

𝐊𝐨𝐤𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐢 𝐇𝐚𝐣𝐢𝐦𝐞

Kokonoi had already made it very clear previously that he did not intend to have children, hiding the pregnancy from him would definitely not be a good idea as it didn't take him long to realize it.

"Do you have something to tell me?" He would ask you, already knowing the answer, Kokonoi didn't want to believe that that had happened.

"N-no." You said, trying to deny the obvious, but he interrupted you.

"You are pregnant." Koko stated, taking a long sigh and shaking his head in denial, you expected the worst possible reaction, but the tallest just burst into tears, soon going to hug you.

"I would never, ever deny our baby, I love you and I will love this baby, in fact, I already love him... or she? I don't know!" He said, or at least tried to say in the midst of so much emotion, he hugged you tightly, you just felt how much he was shaking, Koko was scared and just feared he wouldn't be a good father to your son. "I will take care of you, I will protect you! You are my most precious one, you and our baby."

𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐨𝐦𝐢 𝐀𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢

Takeomi already knew about your pregnancy, he paid close attention to your behavior and it didn't take long to notice the changes.

"What the fuck is wrong with you? Where were you thinking when you chose to hide your pregnancy from me?" Takeomi said placing you against the wall and holding your face aggressively, at that moment you could only cry, fearing for your baby's life.

"You were just another slut, you should have thought about that before showing up pregnant." He said, releasing you, despite all that violence, Takeomi was honestly moved by the fact that you were expecting his baby.

"... I'm so sorry." Takeomi looked at you, helping you sit down and sitting in front of you.

"I won't be able to move on with my life knowing that I left a child behind, so I will take care of you and these children, but know that I'm not happy at all with this mistake I made." He got up and left.

“you can’t leave..” a whine follows.

diverting your attention from the phone towards your boyfriend, clasping it in a single forth movement as the decorative chain strings beside your hand. he was able to catch up in your attempt to leave after you claimed that you had work and you were ‘late’. “and why’s that, ran?”

unbeknownst to most, no one was able to comprehend the scene before them that had your boyfriend in dire need to have you in the sidelines to the meet-ups. now, it's pretty ordinary for a gang member harassing and following some innocent victim, unfortunate maybe—but it wasn’t ordinary to catch said gang member chasing someone for romantic purposes, as in action of affection or.. “forgot my goodluck kisses.” ran frowns.

you wanted to snort in his face, finding his excuse humorous and charming in a way but you had a front to keep ( if you wish to keep him from becoming more spoiled than he is. ) and you really needed to leave if you wanted to keep your job. 

though, it wasn’t his fault but the opposing gang; who happened to be late and by assumption that they would’ve been on time—you would’ve been able to stay but that’s not the case.

“i’m late for work.” you breathe out. narrowing your gaze to avoid his own, knowing defeat if you were to meet his stupid pout or taunting smile; he knows that. now, he’s a gang member.. a criminal, he doesn’t play fair.

and you weren’t an exception to that.

there was no hesitation in his movements, especially when planting you over his shoulder with ease and no trudge in his step—not minding the smacks that meet his spine, if anything he found amusement in it than you. “put me down, ran!”

ran turns around, barking out a laugh when you tense up at the rapid take. “hm, i happened to enjoy this view.”

he comes to a halt when someone steps in his way, observing the uniform set that differentiates his own. the hand that holds you steadily loosens when the stranger snickers. “i do too. in fact,.. i know that ass anywhere.”

ran wasn’t a man of immediate violence, at least not anymore since you became consistent in his life and he appreciates those terms but.. he really wishes to retaliate as of right now. instead, he lowers you onto the ground and notes the way you inch closer to him.. almost troubled before meeting the gaze of your ex-boyfriend.  

grimacing, your hands reach for your boyfriend’s sleeve to pull him away—to leave and avoid more trouble. “just leave him, i’m late—”

“where’s my baton?”

your expression changes, frustration settling as you try to pull him but he remains in place, not even a centimeter difference. without much said on his end ( ignoring yours. ), he reaches into your backpack and fishes out his baton—flicking his wrist to extend the chrome rod. “i did tell you that we came for a fight, right?” he beamed, alarming you and your ex.

without much other warning, his baton takes impacts on your ex-boyfriend’s face as you standby with frantic eyes. there was a voice in the back of your mind, beckoning you to put an end to the fight but you ignored it because you know better—he disrespected you and ran would never let anyone pass with doing such a thing.

so you never showed to work, instead watching your current boyfriend beat the shit out of your ex-boyfriend.

whenever there wasn’t a meeting or an event that involved his appearance as toman’s first division captain, baji made it a routine to take you to a pastry shop afterschool. it began when he started seeing you and having to promise his mom that he wouldn’t neglect you ( not that he would but for safety measures. ) and since then, every wednesday was your day.

it was always the same, never a change in the course—same orders from before, familiar faces of the employees that tended to you and it was comfortable. 

you know,.. until it wasn’t.

“i think, i’m done.” you admit, motioning your plate across the table towards your boyfriend. you weren’t unaware of the glances that he’d take at your fruit when he’s emptied his own plate, so to save the advances of attempting to steal from you—you made it easier for him and he grins, showcasing his appreciation.

“thank you.” he quips before tossing the strawberry into his mouth.

you smile in response, wanting to admire him as he’s engrossed in the food but the sound of the bell captures your attention and with curiosity, you glance behind him and immediately narrow your gaze away when recognizing the person coming in.

your reaction doesn’t go unnoticed by baji, of course not, not when this response has you avoiding his direction. the longer you held your attention away from him—truthfully, it was only a minute—the more bothered he grew because he didn't know what’s going on or what was the sudden switch that made you hesitant to even look at him.

“why aren’t you looking at me?” he inquires, not hiding his irritation but it falters when you reluctantly look at him and it flickers behind him before returning to him. suddenly, he tenses when you motion him to come closer.

“promise me, you won’t look behind you.” you whisper when he’s finally within ear-length. he doesn’t conceal skepticism until you conclude, “he’s here.” 

he seems.. conflicted? almost as if he were restraining himself and you immediately note the way he straightens his spine. from the recollection of where your boyfriend isn’t a fan of being told what to do and well.. restriction, it never goes as planned—failing because he does what he wishes and for once, you need him to hold himself.

he catches your gaze, frowning at your silent plea to desist and he seethes at your lack of trust. “i’m not going to look.” that was a lie.

of course, you don’t know that ( although.. you should’ve. ) and you ease up in your seat, turning away in hopes to keep a discreet presence and he does the complete opposite, turning his entire body to face your ex-boyfriend. you mutter your frustration when the familiar sound of his heinous laughter hits your ears.

you trace the heavy footsteps, seemingly slower in anticipation as he finally reaches your table. “him? you must be desperate.”

turning your head to meet with his taunting gaze, about to detonate for insulting your boyfriend but there was a small tap on your hand—pulling your consciousness away to focus on baji but his attention was.. at his knuckles, as if he were studying them with numerous clenches of a fist before releasing. he shoves a single hand up to your eyes, “think they’re healed?”

the question doesn’t register in your head, not understanding entirely as you survey the blemished bruises. “yeah, why—” without a second wasted, his arm rings towards your ex and collides into his jaw. immediate swelling forms on your ex-boyfriend’s skin as he attempts to roll his jaw but he groans when the pain resides.

baji reprimands the man, provoking even as he complains about his jaw possibly being dislocated and without much listening, he turns back to you and smiles when he recognizes the admiration you spare.

“you know..” you began, noting the way takeomi reaches for your hand before glancing at you—requesting for you to continue, “we haven’t had a date like that in forever.”

he hums in acknowledgement but also, agreement? but nonetheless, he chooses to stay silent and figure out his response with a smoke, assuming from the way he takes a hold of a cigarette from the small carton box that you’ve gotten accustomed to seeing. he leans down, motioning you to light it and by routine, you ignite it.

he takes a long drag of the stick, breathing out an answer. “i’ll try to make more time for you.”

takeomi was repentant, only sympathetic for the way that you dismissed his attempt at an apology and to savor his actions ( or lack of. ). it wasn’t that you justify him, it’s more.. you’re understanding in some sense that his job—which you aren’t much fan of—requires his appearance and ability in counseling the routes that bonten takes.

you were only appreciative that he came home as you were pretty much independent on every other term. having the ability to carry your own and without him but.. allowing you to live with your choices and have him to spend it comfortably, it made sense why you didn’t mind.

nonetheless, it was more than enough. 

“don’t be stupid, takeomi.” bumping your hip with his as you pause at the crosswalk, smiling when he meets your gaze. “our home dates are even better, especially when you come home and get all soft on me.” you tease before laughing when he airs the smoke from his nose out of embarrassment.

“doesn’t have time for you, huh? probably an excuse to get away from your pathetic ass.”

you taut at the voice, choosing to continue forth but you don’t seem to move much as takeomi remains in place. it appears that since you were just insulted, he has no choice but to handle it.. think of it as making up for his lack of presence but you don’t—wanting to leave instead as you pull on his arm.

he inhales the nicotine from the cigarette, allowing it to fill his lungs as he turns to meet with your ex-boyfriend. there’s a long silence between the two until the smoke exhales through his nose, almost as if he needed that to contemplate his next choice of action. “who the fuck are you?”

“let’s just leave.” you chided, taking his attention from the man before him and raising an eyebrow, “you know him?”

he senses that it was more than some acquaintance as you reluctantly nod and that was enough for him to understand the situation that you were uncomfortable with. 

takeomi returns to examine your ex-boyfriend from head-to-toe which somewhat intimidates the man, but instead of insults, he taunts. “hey man, you probably have some shit lungs from smoking. cigarettes kill, ‘ya know.”

“i do too, wanna see?” he answers nonchalantly.

though, his features waver when he catches the sound of your laughing. he means truth to his words, if he doesn’t do it then he has no problem with sending some henchmen to do the job but he can’t help but falter when you comment, “come on babe, you’re scaring the shit out of him.”

before your ex-boyfriend can retort, he catches a glimpse of the bonten tattoo that adorns his skin—the symbol that implies murder really was on the table and.. in front of him. choosing to live, he saunters off with a click of tongue. “whatever man.”

you meet each other’s gaze before breaking into a fit of laughter—to the point where you lean on him for support. he steadies you, taking your hand once more before commenting, “your taste in men is trash.” 

“yeah, you’re no better.” he was.

Wakasa He began to lace the purple little gloves on her hands. “Remember what daddy taught you?” he asked his baby girl. Her eyes watching her dad tying the strings of her glove. “Just like we practiced.” Wakasa patted her head. 

She saw her large uncle Arashi get into the ring he had his gloves on as well. She saw her daddy get out of the ring leaving her in the ring. “Daddy.” She trembled in her voice. 

“you got this bumble bee, keep your hands up and remember the bigger they are the harder they fall.” Wakasa spoke. For years he saw people come in and out of the gym then after training with him he could see the confidence in them. He wanted to do the same thing for his daughter seeing how sometimes she didn’t have confidence in herself due to her being overly shy about anything she did. 

She heard the bell ring and followed her dad's instructions keeping her hands up. Arashi was willing to help his little niece even if he had to be a little dramatic. Wakasa's little bumble bee swung towards her uncle hitting Arashi’s stomach and in a matter of seconds Arashi began to feel ‘pain’ from the hit. He fell to his knees and pretended to knock out. Her eyes widened in shock that she did that to her uncle. She turned around hearing the bell. “I killed him.” 

“ no no you knocked him out! You did it!” Wakasa said, reassuring his little one, getting into the ring. “And the winner is my little bumble bee” Raising her hand up Some of the members in the gym clapped and cheered for this because her little cheeks radiated with heat. She had a bashful smile. “See bumble bee l, no one your age can knock out a giant like him.” 

Takeomi 

“No daddy I don’t want to go…” Her little backpack was on her shoulders. This was her second day of kindergarten. His daughter didn’t have the best day yesterday. She tried her best to meet some friends but when she would try to speak she began to stutter when nothing came from her mouth she took off in the other direction in the classroom. 

Takeomi felt bad for how her first day went. He should have listened to his wife and should have put her into a head start program to help with her social skills but he thought she was too little and being a first-time dad all he wanted to do was protect her and just knowing her parents would always be there for her. Now letting her get her own wings was a challenge. His hands gently were on her shoulders. “I know it’s tough but you can’t give up…. Daddy wants you to try for him. Can you do that for me?” He calmly spoke to her. 

She took a moment to respond with a slight nod. He had a relieved smile. He reached into his coat pocket  “Since you're staying today I have something for you that can help.” Pulling out small bracelets with charms on them.  “I went to the store last night and I asked the lady I needed a special bracelet to help give little princesses confidence. She found this… Look, it has all your favorite things on it too.” He began wrapping the bracelet around her wrist. Going to the jewelry store last night as a gift for her starting kindergarten. Something special for her and if she knows it’s supposed to help with her shyness she could feel a little more relaxed when making new friends. 

“Will it help me? ” She blinked a few times looking at her dad.  

“Mmhmmm,” they heard the bell ring “alright princess I will be here to pick you up after school.” Giving her a big hug. “ I love you.” 

“I love you too.” Kissing her cheek. He watched her enter the school and she disappeared around the corner where he class was.

Chifuyu 

It was his day off and he told his wife to enjoy herself for a few hours while he kept an eye on his munchkin. He was trying to feed Peke J when he couldn’t find him. Calling for him no response. He was looking everywhere for him and nowhere to be seen. The last place he checked was his daughter's room. Her door was slightly cracked open when he could hear his daughter's voice. “Down by the bay~~~ where the watermelons grow~~~ back to my home~~~`” he could hear the cute melody coming from his 4-year-old who was in her room singing. He could see on her bed Peke J,  he had one eye open as he watched his little owner enjoying herself. “Have you ever seen a fly wearing a tie? Down by the bay~” 

He hasn’t heard his daughter sing like this before. She would copy a few words from the song but it will only be spoken softly by her. Hearing her sing the full song brought a smile to his face. Peke J notices the presence at the door picking his head up meowing. His daughter stopped singing and he was busted.   “papa?”  she called out. When he finally opened the door the familiar pair of green eyes that resembled his looked back at him. “Hey sweetie, I was looking for Peke J. It was time for him to eat.” Chifuyu smiled. “I happen to hear you singing.” he smiled. “It was cute.”

She was bashful as she looked down at the ground, her hands were behind her back  “you liked it?” “Of course! You have the sweetest voice I ever heard. You got that from your mama. I know it's not from me. Do you mind if you will sing for me?”  

Her eyes lit up, nodding. “Mhmm.” 

“Promise?” he crouched down holding his pinky out to her. 

“Promise.” her little pinky wrapped around his. 

Baji 

During his final year of residency, he was exhausted. Knowing this would be a big step in his career and for his family as well. Stressful years in school were going to pay off. His shift at his vet hospital ended. Making his way to his home knowing it was late his daughter could be asleep. Entering his home that was silent. ‘They are asleep.’ he thought to himself. He got out of his clothes into something more comfortable, he walked into his daughter’s room, the small night light by her bed was on and she had a stuffed white cat she was holding onto. He sat on the edge of the bed. He had been so busy he hadn’t had a lot of time with his favorite girl. Brushing her hair back and kissing her temple. Her daughter shifted her little hand rubbing her eyes as they slowly peaked open “Sorry I woke you.” he whispered. 

She let out a yawn. “I told mommy I wanted to wait for you, but I fell asleep.” She looked up at her dad. She missed her dad and knew when he had some time when he wasn’t doing his residency he needed rest. “Imissedyou.” she mumbled quietly. 

Baji noticed how his daughter held onto the stuffed cat as she buried her face into the top of its head. “I missed you too kiddo.” he looked at the drawing that was on her nightstand and picking it up he could see three figures “Did you do this?” She nodded her head “It’s f-for you Daddy.” snuggling into her stuffed kitty cat.

“ I have to add this to my collection of fine art, thanx kiddo” he looked at the photo then he found himself yawning. His daughter could see a tired look in his eyes. She scooted in her bed and Baji noticed she was making room for him to lie down. He was too exhausted to get to his room and he gladly accepted cuddling with his baby. “You wouldn’t mind if I crashed with you huh.” 

“I-I don’t mind.”

At times Baji forgot how big she was getting he still remembered her being a newborn who was the side of her forarm. Brushing her dark bangs out of her face. It didn’t take long for his daughter's eyes to become heavy; she didn’t fight her sleep. Baji looked down to see the smile on his baby’s face as she was asleep cozy next to him. His eyes finally gave out as he hit a deep slumber. 

Mikey 

The father-daughter dance was today and Mikey was ready to go. He had the corsage to match his daughter's dress. When he first heard about the dance his daughter was excited she would be taking her dad with her, but the closer it got she became a bit more nervous. There were going to be a lot of dads with their daughters there.  “Love, we are going to be late.” he knocked on her door. 

When his 5 year old opened the door she saw him in the pretty red dress she picked out last week from the store. His daughter didn’t get his personality at all. No matter how hard he tried to help her out breaking the shyness she retracted back more. There were people she was able to talk to that she was comfortable with but others she was mute. Mikey smiled, “I sure do make one hell of a cute kid, you are gorgeous my little princess.” 

He could see her face glowing red as it matched her dress color. “I um uh thank you dad,” she was a bit jittery with the compliment from her dad. Opening the container of the red corsage and placing it on her tiny hand. 

“Am I going to get to dance with my gorgeous date?” Mikey asked, taking her hand. 

“Ca-can you teach me ?” She began following her father to the car.  She really didn’t know how to dance. 

“Of course. Anything for you princess.” He buckled her seat belt and he began to drive towards the school. 

Shinichiro 

Shin could see the frustration in his daughter's face. She was trying to fix her toy that came apart. Trying to clasp them back together when they kept coming apart. She let out a low sigh. “Do you need help, cupcake?” Shin asked, catching his daughter's attention. 

“It’s okay daddy I got it.” Her concentration was still focused on the toy.  Shin could see how to fix the toy he began making his way . “No-No daddy, it's okay.” She looked up at him and he took a seat next to her on the floor. She became a bit more nervous; she wanted to do this for herself instead of going to ask her dad all the time. Shinichiro always loves helping her out. When he is in the shop he would ask her to help him pass him the tools he would need to fix a bike. 

“Daddy is just gonna watch kay?” he patted her shoulder. He continued to watch her tweak it but it wasn’t working. A frown came to her lips she had to admit to defeat this time. “It's okay sweetheart. Take a deep breath.” He guided her through the deep breath and saw her relax after. “Turn this piece around.” He pointed to the left side of the toy. Following her fathers instructions she managed to place the piece properly in. “ you did it!” Shinichiro saw the look on her face she was biting her inner cheeks looking at the toy. “What’s wrong?”
