This is from Brotherless night the book I am currently Reading. I picked up at first because it is so rare to find story with a Tamil character in english book (because there is a lot of Tamil authors like famously know Ponniyin Selvan which actually is mentionned in the book as it is a really popular story in the Tamil community) but on top the character is from Jaffna the same region as my family is from. I didn't expect to be this moved by the story and having moment when I reread some part as to really take it in.
