Local Asparagus is here! Barnegat NJ Scallops succulent, sweet, tender simple sunday dinner Recipe: preheat oven to 425F . in a cast iron pan or metal roasting dish, place scallops on foil or parchment, season scallops w salt + pepper, garlic powder, paprika, melt 1 TBS butter and pour over scallops, tossing to mix . Scatter some fresh thyme or marjoram (if avail) in each scallop and roast for 7 mins, switch oven to maximum broil and continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, scallops will look a bit browned at the edges. Squeeze fresh lemon over the pan and rest for 5 minutes. Enjoy .
