Hey TBE! FIVE YEARS!  Can you believe we have been around for five whole dang years? We’re having our annual #tberp week, the aim being to get people seeing other characters, other plots and everything really - it’s a celebration of everything you’ve accomplished the past year. This is, obviously not mandatory, but if you do all seven days you’ll get a lovely member profile award. Make sure to have your first tags in each post as #tberp and #tbeweek so that we can find your posts to reblog them. If you do not have tumblr - don’t fret! Post these in your member development forum!

#TBEWEEK - day 1 - introductions

Name: bela Gender: cis female Timezone: brt (gmt-3) Characters: reagan farley, jasmine flowers, rishi parekh, dustin remington (coming up!). Something you say/emoji you use too much:  😏 // “it be like that sumtimes” // “wow we love [insert literally anything here]” // “fuck me up, fam”  Favourite RP Trend: headcanons!!! sometimes i’m not in the mood to sit down and write a whole post, but i’m always here for that back and forth on how a character would react to a certain thing on a certain time and the whole “imagine this”, “imagine that” thing - i love it. What do you want non-members to know about TBE: that we’re not only super welcoming, but also really diverse - in the few months i’ve been around, i’ve seen people who are into fluffy plots, people who are into drama, people who reply in 2 hours, people who reply in a week, people who write 800+ word replies, and those who keep it short. in the middle of all that, i find it really hard to feel like an outsider because there’s always someone who’s into what you want to play.

THE BIG EASY RP WEEK 2019 [day five] ↳ plot that impressed you (someone else’s) - Jo & Tom

Something about these two gets me, and I will stalk their threads until I die. Kae and Elle just write their relationship in a way that is so real and so relatable. The two of them aren’t perfect and they had to go through a lot of shit to get to the other side. There’s nothing forced about them; everything that they’ve achieved, they’ve earned. They remind me that the best things in this life are things that you work for, and it’s okay to give yourself room to grow and learn. I am their biggest fan, and it probably helps that Aaron loves them too.

THE BIG EASY RP WEEK 2019 [day three] ↳ Character (of someone else’s) you’d throw down for → mason henderson & reagan farley

special shout out to my og girl that i’d throwdown for *ahem* prudence fitzpatrick. y’all already know. but it felt really wrong not including her in the above (but that’s probably bc she’s being included elsewhere).

okay, so as you can tell some people have been added to that list of characters that i’d actually fight for. first up, mason henderson. sarah made mason for me as a way to remake an older character of hers for a friend group ad i posted for sierra. and let me tell you, i love mason henderson. i wish i had a mason henderson. sarah plays him effortlessly and our threads between sierra and mason are never boring. recently, though, in our threads mason opened up about his father’s passing and being bipolar. some big issues that i think sarah has tackled with care. mason is this loving, funny, and beautiful character that i have absolutely loved writing with in 2018-2019.

next up, reagan farley. oh boy. i have always loved this character, i’m just saying i play james the fiancé of reagan’s cousin, prudy. so, not going to lie. i’m going to be picky over this character from the get-go. she has had many names since i’ve played james, but i don’t think we’ve had someone play prudy’s cousin like bela has. i love how reagan interacts with miles. i love how reagan interacts with romeo. i love how dramatic she can be, and i love the fact that bela kind of made reagan into her own, but still, stays true to who reagan is and how we envisioned her. bela is a bamf writer and if you do not have a plot with her then you are missing out.

THE BIG EASY RP WEEK 2017 [day three] ↳ character I wish I wrote → calum mitchell

So I’ve sorta crushed on this guy since I joined TBE, he’s really well written (good job jay!) and a super interesting character overall. I really like his relationship to his sister, and I’ve always had a thing for people who have their whole life decided for them. I’m not sure if Jay is wanting to go down that angsty route of Calum feeling like he doesn’t get a say in his own life, but I sorta like to think about him that way. He’s just a great character and I wish I thought of him first, dammit Jay!
