Many people will try to shot down your dreams before they ever take off! Scared that you will prove there "reason" to be nothing more than an excuse! Scared that you would raise the expectation of what can be accomplished Scared that they will have to get uncomfortable... because sadly they want comfort more than freedom, more than success, most times... even more than truth. I had shots fired at me, some by people close to me, some by strangers! "That won't work" "that's stupid" "that's one of those things". However, I realized none of those people have really accomplished anything, most of em were totally broke, and the ones who had some finances were time broke... none of them had experienced living life... a lot of breathing to death and surviving... no thriving. I remember a saying I heard. "If they can't afford to pay for your dreams, you can't afford to pay them attention " so I didn't let them stop me, I didn't let life stop me and I didn't let me stop Me! I made 1 decision It has been 2 years I have been on 17 vacations I have helped over 30 people Let's just say, I'm not the only one glad I said yes! It is #MotivationMonday what's up all of you #WonderfulPeople. I hope you had a great weekend! Check it out! Most of us have some type of goals, dreams... maybe they are just wishes for some people. A lot of time we put them off to the wayside.. push them off the stove completely, skip the back burner. Typically we, as people, let life get in the way and we say things like I don't have the time... but when you break it down everyone has the same +80k seconds! We just prioritize them differently. Its kind of like money..Some of us think about how to invest them... others worry about spending those seconds. The difference, while you can save money... the time gets used either way... whether invested wisely or spent without a thought. We think about what our dream will cost us but rarely ever what our dream will allow us to gain ... then we let fear trick us, because we are scared of failure and rejection... we listen to its lies and it tells us "ain't nobody got time for that" "rich people are snobs" "you can do it tomorrow" Typically our dreams will have us sacrifice some free time... but when you realize time ain't free that is a sacrifice worth making... you usually think about..."but wait I'm not good at that"... and forget about adding the "YET!"... You forget that the job you are working ...which you realize is the very thing that takes up most of the time you have and may fail to realize is holding your dream hostage at a ransom of 1$ higher than your hourly wage... you forget that at one point you didn't know how to do that either. Yet you spent time getting good at it... so why not do the same for your dream. Invest time in getting good at something worth getting good at! Then when you get good, invest time to get better... and keep putting in practice! I have a vehicle that can get you to your dream... I was given an option 2 years ago... I could have responded with the same thing as most people respond with... it would have been valid too... but then I would have what most people have... I didn't want ordinary! I was tired of the status quo. I did something about it! I don't have the money... I didn't, but I found it I don't have the time... I didn't but I made it I got a kid on the one and another one to take care of.. I did and this has helped me to enjoy more of the only thing we give up but never get back... TIME!
