@angerdriven : Aether didn't ask, and Tozen didn't offer. He just approaches the traveller and silently drops treasure hoarder sigils, hilichurl masks, fatui emblems, and mora at their feet like a cat bringing its owner dead mice.
They're no stranger to asking friends for spare materials---nearly every day, they stop by the adventurer's guild to collect radishes that Fischl found for them or ore that Bennett accidentally blew off of a cliff---but this would have to be the first time someone sought them out, and certainly the first to display their haul so... pathetically?
They almost pity the treasure hoarder in that moment. Aether hasn't been kind to him. He doesn't seem to mind it, and they're not exceptionally cruel either, but still.
They're absolutely taking the materials, though. Mora is mora.
They kneel to pick up the items, forcing them to look up at Tozen to speak to him. Maybe they take their time with it. Maybe they're on their knees just a little too long. "You know, you can always leave this stuff at the adventurer's guild---unless you really wanted to see me that bad?"
