Heading home.
The morning came quicker than usual--probably because she didn't really sleep all that well. Upon waking, Angel sat up and gave a small groan before running a hand through her hair. The pup at the end of the bed moved to look up at her, wagging his tail happily at her waking. With a small smile, she pet the little guy's head and moved to get up. Oh yeah, she was still in the clothes from yesterday. Oh well. Heading downstairs, with the following of little taps of feet on the hardwood floors, she went to the kitchen to fill the small bowls by the counter. Picking them up off the floor, Angel set them on the counter and took one to pour water in it. Once that was done, she returned to the other bowl. Obviously it needed food. Reaching into the cabinet, Angel retrieved one of the cans of dog food and opened it with the little tab before pouring it's contents into the bowl. Placing both down on the ground, Goliath happily bounded over to begin eating. At the sight, Angel chuckled a bit. She hadn't really brought anything with her when she came here last night--so she'd have to pretty herself up when she actually went home. Angel chuckled to herself, leaning down to pet the soft and happy pup at her feet. She had come here without really thinking. It was the only thing that seemed right at the time. Still, she knew that it was kind of pointless as it was just as empty as her own home. Most certainly she knew that she didn't have to be here to feel safe, not at all. Even so, she had come to feel comfortable at this place whenever she was allowed to be there--and that was why she laughed a bit at herself. Without even realizing it, she had come to rely on someone...she had come to love someone. And she found that humorous because she had never really had those feelings without realizing it before. He was the first one to make her miss someone, to make her rely on a man, to make her feel comfortable as herself--without her realizing it from the start. That man... Shaking herself from her thoughts, Angel gave a small sigh and moved to stand, letting the dog follow her towards the back door so she could let him run around the back yard. It was fenced in so that the little guy wouldn't go running. Letting him play a bit, Angel watched and lent against the doorway--allowing herself to come to a calm. After the pup was all happy and settled in, she'd head home. A small smirk appeared across her lips and she gave a small "heh~" from the back of her throat. After all, she was much stronger than some little girl. She wasn't afraid of an attacker-- and she wasn't afraid of loving either.
