Don’t mind her, she’s just watching from a distance, quietly observing the smaller gem work. In all honesty, she finds mechanics fascinating, but she's not too interested in learning for herself. It’s not that she’s not able to learn— to the contrary, she would likely be able to pick up the new skill with ease— rather, she feels that learning the ins and outs of it would make observing it far less interesting.

Had anyone else been here, she likely would have watched from closer up, but she’s still unsure of what to think of their new comrade.

techniciian approached the mirror gem.

         The serpent’s memories of before she’d corrupted may have been fading, but she still had a very vague idea of where she was supposed to be and how to traverse the area. She was not aware that she had been missing for the last three weeks after going off on a mission on her own -- she was mainly operating on instinct at this point, slithering back to the barn and finding some corner to settle herself in. Upon hearing footsteps, the corrupt lapis lazuli hissed, curling up tighter.

          Prudence was terrified - she hadn’t expected anyone to be around for such         a personal moment, much less for her holo-memory of the renegade. If her         Diamond knew about this, she would be shattered where she stood. She         was shaking, she could hardly breathe - though, she didn’t exactly need to.         She was as good as dead, if she was honest with herself.
