A new post after a long time! This is a sketch redraw of a sketch!

Meet my two tenontos - Estival (palomino?) and Brumal (gray)! ^v^

Estival is a sociable, cheerful, hardworking, kind, and caring dinosaur. He's the son of mother's friend. Despite his young age, Estival enjoys joking, having fun, and being spoiled, but he can also be serious and reserved when needed. He's always happy to help anyone in need, but sometimes his desire to help can backfire. Sometimes he comes across as too naive. Esti is the only male tenontosaurus born in his tribe in the past few years, and as a result, he was bored as a child without any peers of his own gender. However, now he has no shortage of female attention, and he even enjoys it. After meeting Brumal, Estival has set a goal to show the former a peaceful and happy life without the constant struggle for survival. Esti wants Brumal to be happy.

Brumal is distrustful and aggressive towards strangers, and he may be rude or even try to harm someone he doesn't like. The only person he is most calm and friendly with is Estival, and he behaves more reserved around him, especially if Estival trusts the stranger. Brumal wants to protect Estival and the peaceful and happy life he currently has. He is willing to fight anyone, including predators and his own father, to protect his happy life. He's also a stubborn ass who will stand his ground until Esti changes his mind.

With a fantasy world, the main character will need a trusty steed to carry them across perilous landscapes and reaching far off lands. With a fantasy world, you could have horses… OR DINOSAURS. YEAHHHH!

I love the looks of Tenontosaurus and after learning that they think these things could travel long distances with running, I knew I had to use these as one of the main mounts in the story. You’ll have the scaly versions, and since the story for Blue will have changing seasons, I can have these grow hair. Did they in real life? Who cares, because in this fantasy world I can do that I want!

I am a person who loves flashy displays or manes on creatures, so I added some scribbles to include either hair, quills, or fur. Unsure yet. This was a practice for myself in seeing if I draw one, as well as playing with new brushes and trying different colors. It’s tough because I have always loved earthy shades, so patterns somehow always lean towards brown lol.

The Devils Demons is a fictional webcomic about Dinosaurs who got group up as babys after a terrible meteorite shower killed most of the living creatures in a certain area. The weird about their new herd? The herbivores decided to take in a tiny carnivore. Time will tell if it was a good or bad idea to take a possible threat with them.
