I think it’s come to a point in which Rue isn’t the one on drugs, the writers are. Like wtf even is Euphoria at this point, I am so lost, the show has 0 coherence whatsoever.

Like there’s people out there stanning Cal, who’s abusive af to his children and disrespects his wife and SLEPT WITH A MINOR and recorded it and who is a GROWN ASS MAN; because he had an impossible high school closet love. But shittin’ on Nate (a teenager) for what he does to Cassie and Maddy (please someone get those girls a restraining order against him, like please. It gives me anxiety every time they share a screen, they don’t deserve this). Like dude, they’re both horrible people! What is this doble standard!? Like the whole point of Euphoria is that all men are shitty except for Fezco and Ethan.

And speaking of Nate, can someone like...explain his character at this point? What does he want in life? Maddy? Cassie? One episode Rue is narrating that he’s in love with Cassie, the next he’s begging for Maddy to take him back. TBH his father was right in one thing, he really is a mystery. I literally have no idea what his character even is, other than the 90% of the cast’s height (for real, Jacob Elordi is so tall and damn his jaw is a masterpiece)

Just like Jules. I am so confused by this point, they say one thing, show another, aim in one direction, double back. We spent and ENTIRE season on her and Rue getting together, and like...they literally haven’t been happy once. And what the fuck is Elliot?

And the Cassie storyline is driving me nuts. Like obviously there is an intention of showing just how hard it is to get your shit together when you’ve been through what she has, like it’s not that easy to say “I don’t need a man”. But like...You’ve got to make it engaging, you’ve got to make it dynamic, not repeating the same old routine. Right now, she’s saved by the fact that Sydney is one hell of an actress. Like her acting during Cassie’s mental breakdown is heartbreaking in the best possible way.

At this point, I’m just watching the show because of Fezco and Lexi and I’m not getting nearly enough of them.

I started watching Yellowstone for a minor character played by an actor I fell in love with in a show about teenage werewolves, and for some reason I’m in season 4 and I stayed because it revived my cowgirl aesthetic phase and I became invested in this family of rich, white a$$holes lead by an old cowboy that reminds me so much of my favorite grandpa, I’m half convinced they based the plot on his life. Your honor, I will put my hands for to the fire for every Dutton except for Jamie. F*ck that lil’ bitch, his fake-woke ass baby mama and his manipulative biological father.

That said, I also did stay for Ian Bohen in a cowboy hat.

Is it possible that hating Nate Jacobs and feeling a little sorry for Nate Jacobs are feelings that can co-exist? I mean that last episode literally implies he might have been abused by his father, which adds up with what his mother mentioned one or two episodes back about him having being very sweet until he changed all of a sudden. And well, the whole thing with Lexi’s play is pretty traumatic, because anyone with two brain cells can tell it was about him, and like...being exposed like that must be really harsh. Like, on the one side, he deserves the negative karma, but I think maybe it would be better if that karma was related directly with his bad actions with Maddy, Cassie and Jules rather than with his sexuality and potential abuse trauma. Like, it’s his bad actions that should backfire on him, not the shit he had no control of blame about.

After that episode, I am also legit scared of Cassie, I don’t put it past her that she’ll launch at Lexi for “sabotaging” her relationship and I am genuinely scared for Lex who is also my favorite character what an Icon that play was flawless.

I loved how all the characters reacted to the play, knowing it was about them. Like Rue being all nostalgic and Maddy being half annoyed half “Go Best Friend”. And well, give it to Lexi and Cassie’s mum for representing me as an audience during the entire episode.

Also my boy Ethan (aka the only man with rights in that show other than Fez and Jules’s dad) finally getting the spotlight he deserves like YES KING, playing all those different characters and nailing that musical act, like FINALLY HE IS THERE LIVING HIS BEST LIFE.

....I SWEAR TO GOD IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO FEZCO, IF MY BEAUTIFUL PRECIOUS FEXI IS RUINED LIKE WE JUST GOT AN IMPLIED LOVE CONFESION AND HE’S SO CUTE GETTING READY TO SEE HIS SHAWTY AND OMG I JUST HOPE LEXI IS AWARE THAT SOMETHING IS WRONG AND NOT THAT HE DIDN’T JUST DITCH HER I AM SO ANGUISHED I WANT TO CRY. PLEASE DON’T PLEASE DON’T HURT HIM. DON’T HURT MY BABIES.
