Okay, goodie. Let's go into my ideas for Luna and her ... adventure (?) that I don't know how to present, but know that I want it to be a thing.
So Luna is Glimmer and Adora's post series/post war baby. She is created through magical means (i.e. that amazing magic lesbian ritual this fandom has accepted exists) however, the spell is... somewhat botched and the subsequent pregnancy is r o u g h. Luna is actually stillborn.
In a desperate last ditch effort to save her, Adora uses She-Ra's healing abilities to breath life back into her; but in the process, the botched spell/conflicting magics, completely cut off her connection to the Moonstone.
Luna grows up a princess with no powers and is also smaller and physically weaker than the others. It's a BIG OL BUMMER considering her heritage. And it does not take her long to become aware of that. 😔
She pressures herself, despite the peace in Etheria and the fact that no one expects anything crazy from her, and in fact becomes kind of bitter and angry. Catra sees a lot of herself in Luna and the two of them tend to bond over their shared desire (formerly on Catra's part) to prove themselves, or be better than what people expect.
Luna is never able to tap into Moonstone magic (she doesn't even sparkle like Glimmer does), or She-Ra magic (Adora's old reforged sword does not respond), and sorcery is a no go too (even though Micah does his best to teach her).
Eventually, this leads Luna on a ... quest for power of sorts 👀 that surprise, surprise, puts the whole world in danger...
