Happy Nurse's Day!
May 6th-12th is Nurses Week, a time to honor some of the hardest working individuals out there. The theme for Nurses Week this year is Nurses Make a Difference, and those words couldn't be truer.
If you have a story you'd like to share about a nurse who made a difference in your life, we'd love to hear it! To all the nurses out there, including many of our members: Thank you.
As always, to learn more about our charitable mission and how you can help nerds in need, please visit our website at www.operationhammond.com
Today is National Nurses Day. During this pandemic, nurses around the world are working tirelessly with incredible dedication and compassion. We thank all the nurses for everything that you are doing today, tomorrow, and every day.

Happy Nurse's Day from Bunny Bounces!
We would like to give a big shout-out and say #ThankYouNurses on this National Nurses Day. We are grateful for the work you do to keep communities safe. Pictured: The only woman in this 1923 photograph of the Central of Georgia Railroad #Safety Committee in Macon, Georgia, is nurse Virginia Howell. She was working as a private duty nurse in her hometown of Emporia, Virginia, when she signed up as an army nurse in October 1918, at the age of 21. Over 22,000 professionally-trained female nurses were recruited by the American Red Cross to serve in the U.S. Army between 1917 and 1919. When the First World War ended, Howell joined the nursing staff of the Central of Georgia Railroad. She worked as a nurse for the railroad in Macon for the remainder of her long career. #history #respect (at Macon, Georgia) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_3B_IDH-s9/?igshid=108nggavria23

To every nurse who shows up with heart, strength, and compassion— thank you. For the long nights, the calm in chaos, the healing touch, and the silent strength… I see you. I honor you.
We carry so much—yet we continue to care, to heal, and to hold space for others.
💙 From one nurse to another… I’m proud to stand beside you.
