There really is nothing sexier than a man who knows how to be assertive, but he's not an asshole about it

i feel like people think the cast liked martin more than they did. he very much trauma bonded with everyone but a master manipulator He Was Not
tim and sasha were nice to him in a 'look at this human disaster' way but were quick to talk about how pathetic he is behind his back
he was outright shitty to melanie and basira day one and they 100% noticed
the two interactions between martin and daisy in the entire podcast involved one threatening the other
but sure annabelle. they were all in the palm of his hand.
SHERLOCK SUCKING UP TO WATSON'S MOM.... sweetheart.... why are you doing that if not a) high or b) trying to impress her because you're interested in her son
zoom in :)
music music music i LOVE music
y'know what I love most about music?
Human tone intonation.
We as humans, I don't know why and I doubt I ever will, but we are trained(most of us at least) to pick up on the subtle nuances of human speech patterns and facial expressions and just all of it
There's a reason why writers so frequently have their characters do phone calls and then say "I could hear his smile through the phone" because we literally can do that
As people we tend to look to the Animal Kingdom and wow at everything other animals can do- without focusing on our own talents as well
I mean- can you believe that? Our ears can literally hear when someone is smiling without having to look at them.
We just know that because their tone shifts ever so slightly and there's a tad more dum! in their voice
Anyways, drawing this back to the topic of music- I love when you can hear the enjoyment the singer has when they're singing. You can be listening to the radio and thereee the subtle tone shift because you just know he's grinning at his sound booth guy because they wrote this song together and that line is an inside joke, or maybe the bandmates hit that harmony just perfectly and are grinning stupidly at each other while still singing
I love when you get to watch musicians just have fun and delight in hearing their own voices/success but also- mainly because I am a band maniac- when they hear one of their bandmates sing and just have to smile because it's so beautiful-they're so beautiful- and because we're trained to hear those subtle tone shifts we don't even need to be watching them live to hear that and just
idk it makes fizzy warm bubbles of light explode inside me when I hear it or, in lucky cases, see it happen :)
GUYS WE WERE SO FUCKING ROBBED 😭😭😭
I'll get my revenge. Brick by brick.
Good things about being a writer is that I can start ideas and never finish them.
I can do that as an artist too you ain't special
