spn is the worst show to do "plot armor" meta eps for. because they have the most explained plot armor tbh. like...dean dies fr in 1x12. it has real consequences too. he dint plot armor then! hunts go bad all the time, and it did, and he just was gna die randomly. sam and dean are shown to be killed and brought back to life repeatedly s4 specifically as a villain plan, or because sam literally sacrificed the earth to do it, etc etc. (and it's not even like they're the only ones making that kinda deals...we see that other people make them too and how it affects them too). the only thing special for sam/dean/cas/jack/mary is that they're the chosen victims of God and cosmic beings. that's the only difference between them and others. and that too is well-explored in many seasons. so suddenly claiming they have plot armor and that they were saved despite their lack of...lockpicking skills or whatever....is so stupid.
