What I expected:

Cool, confident, punk-rocker type who’s kind of a flirt but is at heart an older brother, in Arcadia working minimum wage because he had a Calling to go there, it’s his Duty. He has a sense of Purpose. There’s a quest he’s to complete, and the jobs are just until his adventure reveals itself.

What I got:

A huge dork with slight anxiety and self-worth issues who needs approval from the parental figures in his life. Rebellious streak, makes reckless decisions, definitely a punk-rock protective older brother type. In Arcadia working minimum wage because he needs money to fund his hobbies, works multiple jobs, an absolute millennial with no regard for authority. Just kinda vibing.
