(TW: Excessive drinking/getting drunk, panic attack, mentions of feeling nauseous, implied concern about SA)
Usually Chishiya doesn't drink, he knows it's bad for your body. But after many failed surgeries, he needed something to take his mind off it, even if it was only for a while. So, there he was, standing in the corner of Kazu's bar, drinking alone.
He lifts his head up at the sound of laughing from two idiots stumbling into the bar, going over to the counter, and talking to the guy behind it. He watched as the three laughed and talk as takes another sip.
After about 25 minutes of continuous sipping, he went up and ordered another drink. The blond bartender that the two boys were talking to earlier took his drink order and gave Chishiya a wink before starting to make the drink, causing Chishiya's face to flush slightly. He leaned against the counter again, glancing over at the other two boys. They were insanely drunk, slurring their words and laughing too loud. Chishiya tried to focus on the counter. He started to become overstimulated from the loud noises, bright lights flashing, and people bumping into him as they walked by. 'Another drink should help.' He thought, taking his drink from the boy and taking another sip quickly.
“Are you going to pay for your drinks?” The boy asked.
Chishiya snapped back into the overwhelming reality he had wished he stayed out of and reached into his hoodie pocket to grab his wallet. ‘It’s not here.’ He felt around further into his pockets, his wallet wasn’t there. That’s what pushed him over the edge.
He didn’t really care much about things like not having something or misplacing something, but he was already overstimulated. His breathing got harder without realizing it and his vision blurring as the noise of everything filled his head. He couldn’t focus on much in that moment. The sound of bar noises was replaced with a ringing in ears and his heavy breathing. He heard snippets of a conversation fading in and out. “Karube.” and “Panic attack.” Then a soft, “Come with me.” Before feeling someone grab his hand and lead him to a space that was quieter. “Try to take a deep breath. You’re safe.” The voice said, letting go of Chishiya’s hand. Chishiya held on to his hoodie tightly, taking deep breaths like what the person had said to do. After a few breaths, his blurred vision started to go away as well as his hard breathing and the ringing in his ears. He rubbed his eyes, wiping away the tears he didn’t know or had allowed to fall. “Hey, are you okay?” The person asked.
Chishiya looked up at him. The black haired boy that had been talking with the bartender before sat in front of him, looking at him concernedly. Chishiya's face turned dark red from humiliation. He didn’t want to be seen like this, crying and spiraling like a complete idiot in front of this random stranger. He looked down. “I’m fine.” He muttered.
Arisu handed him a bottle of water. “Here.” He offered.
Chishiya pushed it away with his hand. He stood up and tried to walk away, despite feeling exhausted. Arisu went over and placed a hand on his waist, supporting him as he stood. Chishiya blushed and shoved him away. “I’m fine on my own.” Which was a lie, but he would rather tumble over than have someone he didn’t know touch him again. He opened the door and headed back into the bar, pushing his way through the groups of people.
Arisu followed quickly behind him. “At least let me call you a cab or something, please.” He pleaded.
Chishiya sighed and turned to him. “Look, I’m tired. Okay? I don’t need help from some guy I don’t know, even more when he touches me in a place I’m self-conscious about.” He muttered so only the boy in front of him could hear. He wouldn’t say shit to this boy about his insecurities or even take the time to talk to him, but he was too tired and drunk to even process the words coming out of his mouth. Arisu nodded. “You know what? I don’t care anymore, get me a ride or something.” Chishiya sighed, giving in.
Arisu nodded, picking up his phone and calling someone to pick Chishiya up. After the call, Arisu went over to the bar to talk to his friends. “I’m going to take this guy home, okay? I’ll see you guys tomorrow.” He told them. His friends bid a farewell to their friend as he walks back over to Chishiya. A guy knowing where Chishiya lives? Definitely a no if he was conscious, but he didn’t say anything. Besides, he knew it would be safer than being alone in a random car drunk.
When the cab got there, Arisu led Chishiya to the car without touching him this time. They got into the car and as the lights in the car faded off, Chishiya passed out almost immediately, unconsciously letting his head fall on Arisu’s shoulder.
Arisu stiffened, sitting as still as he could until they got to Chishiya’s apartment. ‘Shit, what am I going to do now?’ He thought, glancing down at the sleeping boy on his shoulder.
“You gonna get out or not, kid?” The driver asked. Arisu nodded quickly, scooping up Chishiya in his arms.
He stood up, waiting for a weight he couldn’t carry, but to his surprise, Chishiya was much lighter than he thought. He had no problem carrying Chishiya up to the door of his apartment. He put his hand on the handle. Locked. Of course. He looked around for a key, or anything to open the door with. He squatted down to the ground, lifting the rug, and sure enough, there was the key. He carefully took the key and unlocked the door, opening it more with his foot.
He walked in, taking off his shoes, and peaking his head into rooms to find the sleeping boy’s bedroom. Once he found it, he carefully setting the boy down onto his bed. ‘Wow, he’s pretty.’ He swallowed, quickly leaving the room and closing the door behind him. Then relocking the door and placing the key back under the mat, then stood up and decided to head back to his own house for the night.

Chishiya woke up the next day with tremendous headache. He felt horrible. He looked around, he was back in his house. How did that happen? He just accepted the fact that he was home and stood up to grab a drink that wasn’t alcohol. He got a cup from the cabinet and got water from his sink. He opened the fridge to grab something that’ll make him less nauseous. ‘Goddamn it, out of food.’ He thought as he slammed the door to his fridge a little too harshly. He put his cup down on the table. He grabbed the wallet he had left on his table last night and put the wallet in his pocket before heading outside where the sun shined too brightly. He covered his eyes with his hand and made his way to the store. As he entered the store, he went into the food aisle to grab instant noodles and biscuits. He glanced over at loud laughing. There they were again. He put the food down and went up to Arisu.
“Oh, hey-“ Arisu got cut off by Chishiya snatching his arm and pulling him away from his friends.
Chishiya let go and glared at him. “What happened last night? You were the last person I saw. How did I end up back into my house? Even more, what did you do to me?” He demanded. He secretly hoped that nothing did happen and this boy just took him home, but he knew that wasn’t always the case.
Arisu put up his hands defensively. “Woah, hold on. I didn’t do anything, I promise. You were drunk and exhausted after you had a panic attack, so I called a cab and went with you to make sure got home safe.” He paused nervously. “You fell asleep and I brought you inside. I know you said you didn’t like people touching you, but I didn’t want to wake you up, so I just brought you inside myself. I didn’t do anything, I swear.”
Chishiya searched his eyes for any indication that he was lying, but there wasn’t anything there. Chishiya let himself relax. “Thanks, I guess.” He muttered. “What’s your name?” He asked, raising an eyebrow.
Arisu smiled. “Arisu Ryohei.”
Chishiya glances at the ground. “Chishiya Shuntaro.”
Arisu smiled. He turned his head to his friend’s shouting his name. “I’ll see you around, Chishiya!” He said before running back to his friends.
Chishiya watched him run off. “See you around, Arisu.”
