The Deck comic but it's written by Gooseworx
(I'm sorry)
happy The Deck AU weekend i had it on my mind and i also had fran on my mind. The Deck AU + Fran 2 electric boogaloo. i always feel nervous about self indulgently doodling and wondering about how a character of mine would fit into someone else's AU but hopefully it's ok
i've talked about it before briefly i think it's fascinating. things go so much more difficult in this universe but that kinda makes it all the more impactful when they end up going well doesn't it
I imagine here her learning about the clones is a lot more stressful. Debatable whether or not Romeo is still the final straw but it's possible. When she learns it's like. this is a lot to take in. she's mad she's confused she's awkward she just has to walk out. poor Fedor probably as usual thinks he messed up the one normal relationship he might have had because of this choice he made, which he feels is just on him. thinks he should have expected it
i think she comes back in like two days though. because thinking about it rationally and calming down she's like oh god this guy is probably going through some shit trying to manage all this. also i like the guy i should at least talk to him. and like. clearly Fedor did not intend for this. and also this is weird and kind of intriguing.
i think there's a lot of interesting scenarios to be had here. imagining the different ways she might have accidentally encountered the clones and how it would have put a strain on her and Fedor's first stage of friendship. like seriously it would be so bad. because like zeesha kinda said before it would make Fedor look like a lunatic LMAO but eventually she'll be informed and she'll start to get it and she puts effort into understanding. because who else will. and now they keep showing up at her apartment
TDAU Fedor looks like his struggle is so much worse he needs a rock to lean on. poor thang
The Deck AU belongs to @hey-im-zeesha hiii it's me again
When Atlas opened his eyes, he couldn’t help but gasp as he realized what he was seeing.
Golden beams filtered through long stretches out branches, filled with bright lively green leaves.
The Irish man slowly sat up, his hands drifting on the warm dry ground. Is this..? Did they..?
Tears started to brim the man’s eyes as his hands leapt to his mouth.
God- theyre.. theyre really there. He’s there- he can feel the sun’s warmth. He can see the blue sky-
A choked sob ripped from his chest as he scrambled to stand.
The surface.
He’s on the surface.
Atlas let out a incredulous laugh as he turned, besides him three forms laid passed out in the grass.
With a shakey smile he dropped to his knee and the closest person to him. “..Spades. Wake up lad, we did it, we’re free!”
The man under his hands groaned before weakly swatting at him. Atlas couldn’t help but laugh as he turned away.
Oh the surface was so warm. Even the air, the air felt like it was constantly moving, bringing fresh scents where ever it would go.
If he could, Atlas would have stayed there forever.
He couldn’t remember exactly how he got there, he remembered stepping into a bathysphere with the deck then..
The smile slowly fell off his face. He.. couldn’t remember how he got there.
A shout caused himself to jerk his head to the side.
“Don’t worry kids! I got it!”
Atlas’ brows furrowed. That, was definitely Clubs voice but..
He glanced down at the drowsy sleeping three. ..All Three were still here.
The bushes shook as a man moved through them.
Atlas grit his teeth as he scrambled back onto his feet. Of course they couldn’t have just one break. Of course-
The Clubs impersonator broke the bush and tree line, and stopped at the sight of Atlas. “..Uh, hey. Have you seen any-?”
Atlas felt his expression warp into anger. Did that fucker make another one? He thought they Killed Fontaine-!
“You FECKER!” Atlas snarled out. He was only aware of the imposter’s face shifting into panick before the Irish man tackled him.
