The generals!!! Wanted to draw my babies hanging out together.

With me finally being done my AP art class i figured i post some of the art work i did for it. All these characters are ocs of mine (all but the rabbit being part of my royal series)

Voltron Headcanon: Galra operate under Pokemon breeding rules. In Pokemon, the baby is always the same species as the mother, but they receive certain moves passed down from the father. So if a Galra has a child with another alien species, the baby will physically most resemble the father’s species, but may gain some abilities from the mother. This is why Keith looks human; his dad was human, but he got his stamina, strength, and agility from Krolia. 

Using this logic, we can guess for the other Half-Galra we see what their parentage is. Ezor’s mom was Galra, but her dad was the chameleon alien. Acxa and Zethrid look a lot closer to full blood Galra, even though they do have non-Galra features, so their fathers were Galra and their mothers were another species. 

Lotor is a little trickier. We know his dad is Galra and his mom is Altean, but Lotor mostly looks like a purple Altean, as opposed to a Galra with flowy hair. But we do know Lotor got his minimal shape-shifting ability (his claws) and his Chosen marks from Honerva.  

This is as good a theory as any.
