In the vague TUGS au I've made there were originally eight gods (nine counting Billy, who was the youngest of these) and he killed the other eight, and consumed them, which is why his true form is a mixture of different animals.

In addition to his former titles, those being: The Bringer of Pestilence, He Who Lurks in the Rivers Below, He Who Razes the Firmament, and The Monster of War and Conquest.

Billy had been given new titles upon his overthrowing of the elder gods; The Devourer of the Old Faith, He Who Feasts Upon the Divine, Ravager of the Empyrean, and He Who Gluts on the Bygone Relics of an Lapsed Epoch.

He is known by his common, simpler title of "The Godeater."

🧨💣💥BILLY SHOEPACK APPRECIATION POST💥💣🧨

He's my favorite TUGS character, without a doubt. Instant Blorbo right here. He's so cool. He's chaotic neutral, and fears nothing.

I imagine the other characters (minus Sunshine, Sally, Boomer, and Ten Cents) get a little uneasy around him.

He's got a piercing stare, teeth that are little too sharp, and an eerie, unnerving aura about him. He looks human enough at a distance, but don't be fooled. He's anything but.

Big Mac being utterly terrified of Billy Shoepack but not showing it whenever he's around because Billy can sense these things.

Top Hat being wary of Billy Shoepack because the guy unnerves him innately, and Billy knows this too.

About Sketch: The Sepheron

Now I know I've posted these sketches before. I just wanted to share some of the idea behind these creatures, even though the sketch is in serious need of re-design.

Sepheron

The Sepheron are the elite warriors of Corporation Andromeda. They are an hybrid breed of humanoid clones developed through Demigod Malaah’s experimental endeavors. The Sepheron are powerful enough to face off with a Demigod, commonly known as Mancers. None are powerful enough to last very long against them. Three or four Sepheron however, would be more than a match for most Mancers including a member of Hierarchy Guild.

Malaah used human genes spliced with the cloned dna of the Argentavis Magnificens. The genetic manipulation seems to also involve the feline dna of a tiger or other great cat. As a result, these cloned warriors incubated with three distinct mutations: two sets of eyes, unusually large hands or gauntlet-like claws, and two-sets of enormous wings.

Malaah intended the Sepheron angelic appearanc  to support Corporation Andromeda's claim their CEO is the Last God.

Although a truce is enforced by Heirarchy Guild, the 8 Corporations have standing armies. Most corporate armies reach well into the millions. While the Sepheron maintain a number of only a few hundred, they are quite possibly the deadliest force on earth. (One Sepheron has been reported to have killed over a hundred enemy soldiers before being killed himself.)

Note: To grow the Sepheron fetus to full maturity (adult sized) takes 1-2 years, though most Sepheron live no more than 22 years.

Duty Calls

I don't know what's worse posting inconsistently (any time the whim hits me) or not posting at all. I guess I know the answer. I'm gonna get better at this, I promise myself. Maybe I'll be better at it when I launch my blog on my own web site. One can only hope, right? I've been thinking about transparency lately. I want to be more open, more real, with folks who take time to come by and see or read what I post. It's a lot of fun doing tumblr. I use to Wordpress for the other comic, The Adjusted, and that was work, although it was still kinda cool. I like sharing what we're going through over here with the Godeater. It's hard some times, because I'm more conservative than I probably need to be. There's a ton of juicy to share, I just kinda shy away from giving it all up. Right now, we are on the verge of full throttle. We had a bit of a glitch, a set back if you will, with financing after our early summer excursion two weeks ago. As some of you guys probably remember, we should be in HYPER-DRIVE right about now. It's still coming though. We have a very kind benefactor who has supported us since the whole Kickstarter campaign.

Her faith and support in me, in us, has been invaluable. As I said, everything should be resolved fairly soon. For now, I'm digging into some HTML and gaining a knack for web design. Believe me, I'd much rather keep practicing my manga drawings, but what can I say... Duty Calls.

No Review Today, but...

I haven't had much chance to watch much anime over the last week, so my customary Sunday morning review isn't happening this morning. Yesterday, the major move in the production process required a meeting with potential artist for the Godeater project. To be honest, this is still the early part of the production phase. There is so much to be done. My wife and I have partnered up to form our llc and currently much of the work involves writing the business plan and developing our many tasks and tactical approach to launching the brand.

My wife is good at the planning. I have come to accept I'm terrible at it, which isn't necessarily accurate. I'm terrible at the execution of plans, because I become distracted too easily. So, our focus has to be the boring stuff of planning and preparation almost to the tiniest minute detail. As many can imagine this is a frustrated stage for an artist, because all I want to do is get back to Photoshop and design my webcomic pages and what not. I have to remind myself that I'll get back at it soon enough.

Anyway, next weekend my youngest brother is getting married (yeah!) This is going to be so cool. We're all traveling to Cleveland for the wedding which is a huge deal for us for various reasons. So next week I begin my travels, first to my brothers wedding than M.C.S.T. and I will visit family friends in Indiana. We'll return next week.

I'll let you all know how everything goes... road trip with the kids, yeah:p
