Actor Jim Belushi speaks out for The Gout
When I think of The Gout I imagine a rich French king with his foot propped up on a great huge pillow on an ottoman like in a Tom and Jerry cartoon. I know, it's a real thing, and surely hurts like hell, but they're gonna have a long way to go to rehabilitate it to the point that people won't be embarassed to have gotten it.
Getting rid of the "The" will help. Adding a "The" to something just makes it sound funny and quaint - The Awesome, The Facebook, the Electric-type Twitter... I mean, people don't get The Pneumonia or The Lupus.
