With a bit of effort Rime gets up from the snow, shaking off the snow that has piled on her and taking off the mask she wears, looking at it thoughtfully...

“Hmm I don’t need this mask anymore...” She says as she chucks the mask somewhere in the treeline, never to be seen again, “Soo what do I do now? Wait? Walk? Fly?” 

“The town is nearby and two townspeople will be here soon to escort you to the town where Taryn is, so I suppose you could wait here for now” 

“Okioki! Waiting it is~” Rime sits down immediately as she starts to wait for the mons to show up, “I hope they hurry up, I am starting to get hungry”

Rime huffed and let herself fall in snow next to Taryn.

“It is no fun if you keep laying there, we still have so much ground to cover.”

Rime said with a whine, but did not make any attempt to get back up. Both of them grew silent as they looked up to the sky. Snow kept on falling down, covering the tracks they made.

“…”

After a minute of laying in the snow, Rime looked over to the mon next to her.

“You know, while I enjoy laying in the snow and all that, I feel like we really should keep going.”

Getting up again, Rime shook off the snow that had build up on her fur.

“The mountain does not like that we have been staying here.”

As she said that, the wind began to pick up. Snow began to fall more heavily.

“Lets keep this adventure going, we never know who will be waiting for us~”

“Well thank you kind Spirit and please accept this humble gift.” Rime said with a grin as she grabs the bag with the goodies.

“I have no use for it anyways~“ She said as she started to walk away but glanced back to the Flygon. “So maybe you find a way to use it hmm? Enjoy the festival Rubble~” After she said that Rime seems to just disappear, but her laugh could still be heard.

Rime obtained a bag of cookies and 2 pumpkin pies

@the two "What are you two doing here?" An eevee says whilst walking up

“The same as you, probably! Maybe. Who knows~” Rime said excitingly at the random Eevee.

“I am here for good food and maybe fight a really big bird.” They said with a grin. Maen looks at the other Eevee with excitement that rivaled Rime, maybe even exceeded.

“I never been to a place like this! And I never seen so many people!” She basically yelled without a care.

“This is my first festival and mom decided to dress up so I did too!” Maen said as she showed off her mask and bell with a big smile.

“Can’t wait to see what we can do at this festival!”

Moon @ Maen&Rime: ooh I like your masks, they're pretty! Are you going to do any of the activities here?

“Thank you! And while my goal is to find as many food I can.” Rime said as they mentioned at the bag with food before turning to face Maen. ”I think the kid has other plans right?” Rime said with a proud smile at the Eevee.

“Yes! I am looking forward to go to the haunted forest with the friends I made!” Maen said excitingly as she hold up a small bag. “I got a gift for a friend that will meet up here at the festival!” She opened the bag to show off what was inside to the Furret.

“It is a Firestone! Isn’t it pretty?” The Eevee said excitingly as she closed the pouch again. “I just know she will love it!” 

“Hey kiddo, I got something for you go off again.” Rime opened her bag and got out the pumpkin pies. “Here you go, you can run off again after you have eaten~” 

“Thanks mom!” Maen said as she took the pumpkin pie and started to wolf it down.

“Hey Moon Moon.” Rime said as she hold out the other pumpkin pie. “Do you perhaps also want a pie? They fresh as I just got them from a Desert Spirit who is selling them.” Rime said as they grabbed a cookie for themselves to snack on, leaving the decision to take the pie up to the Furret.

Harvest @ Rime: so you've brought a small friend with you as well? You ever worry about them running off on their own? I feel like I'm being silly and over protective sometimes;;

“Oh she never runs off too far on her own.” Rime said to the Jolteon while they gestures around vaguely. “Maen won’t leave the festival grounds, I would know.” She said knowingly at Harvest as The Glaceon made a humming sound before continuing talking.

“I thought this festival was a great place for her to make some friends.” Rime said with a smile as she looked around the festival grounds. “I even asked the other kids to come to this festival, but they passed up this opportunity. Their loss” Rime said while shrugging and looking back at Harvest.

“And besides.” The Glaceon said with a grin that grew wider. “It is not like I am the only one watching her~ ”
