I know, I know. I should have just trusted Nick Godfrey, owner/operator of Precious Recordings when he released 7" from Copenhagen, Denmark band Josie. He has been dipping his toes more frequently in new releases - this Josie 7" is his 4th. Heck, last month, he even debuted Club Precious - a live show with The Loves, Silver Biplanes, and...Josie.

Josie reminds me a bit of bands like Marine Research, Tiger Trap and The Shop Assistants. They've even shared the stage with Shonen Knife and Paul Collins.

Nick got the first drop on the band. And then Perennial (an offshoot of K Records) released their full length. Perennial is home to Sharp Pins, The Smashing Times and many other bands that fit the sound of Josie.
