BVB Discography // The Mourning The Mourning is the band's third EP. Released on October 21st, 2022, starting with the single “Saviour II”, a reaffirming of the message from “Saviour”, featured on Set The World On Fire. The EP, according to frontman Andy Biersack, originally began with the intention of writing The Phantom Tomorrow part two, but Biersack believed the entire story had already been told on the album and instead switched to writing songs about the band’s own experiences.

Do you ever think about how The Mourning is just the most crystallized form of BVB as a whole??? It has the anger the self-doubt the fighting with your inner demons BUT it also has that reassurance it has that message that has carried this band for more than a decade. And there is something to say about how that song that has that message is the outcast of the EP!!!!! Saviour II stands apart from the other three songs because it's SO different in message and tone but it's just like through all the anger and hatred that core message is still there!!!! YOU'RE THE ONE BORN TO SAVE DON'T YOU GET IT
