Giving me some inspiration for ‘the Ripple Effect’ (don’t @ me I know I hasn’t updated it since the first chapter✋I am cooking I promise you🤞)
Its 11 am here... the perfect time for a little lore 😈

Have you ever wondered WHICH object caused Victor's scar?
And who did it?
TAN TAN TAAAAAAN 🤯🤯🤯 (in case you dont know who is? She is wendy, boone's mom)
Now time for lore...
In the past, many years before our protagonists were born, Victor and Toby were Rippen and Larry's replacements for a day (Rippen was sick and Larry was taking care of him). That day was when Vonnie almost destroyed the Egg City (mentioned in The Ripple Effect) and they were about to win, but as in the episode Hail Larry, Rippen didn't want them to win and sabotaged them (that's why Victor and Toby hate him)
After that, on Earth, Victor and Toby had a confrontation with Vonnie and Bruck that quickly escalated. There are MANY things to detail here... On another day, BECAUSE WHAT MATTERS is Wendy😀 (Boone's mom), she was like Boone, not as... bright and didn't help much on missions, but that was because she was also shy and a bit more timid (kind of like Fluttershy😅). She had already had some run-ins with Victor unintentionally (she caused him to be expelled that same day one example)
In a panic, she wanted to stop the fight, grabbed the crystal (without seeing) to defend her friends, and stabbed Victor in the eye
And there's something VERY curious about the cristal👀, and that is that it's VERY sharp
You can imagine the pain that poor Victor went through 😬
He lost his eye
On the story, both Phillips and Phil possessed the technology to heal any wound, and a little faster than usual (depending on the wound, got this in mind)
Except if it was caused by the crystal
And the crystal meth's side effects wouldn't make him forget it. Its side effect was that every now and then he'd get an electric, sharp pain similar to the stab wound from that day (although he was bitter before, now he's even more so having to endure that pain)
AND SHE CAUSED IT!!!
She was remorseful, she wanted to apologize, she was crying, she couldn't believe what she'd done
Phillips came in and stopped everything, asking them both to leave. Victor, being dragged along by Toby, weak, kept glaring at Wendy with hatred. She tried to approach him again to apologize, but what she got in response was...
"I c-curse you, wiseman... i... hate.... you... if y-you dare... to have kids... they will suffer the same pain... forever... and its you fault"
She must have heard him...
The end 😇

welp
hey to anyone still following on this blog and the other ones. so, today, found that quite a number of my fics were scraped by the word-art-vomit-machine, and that's to be expected in today's world. somehow, the ripple effect, I found, did not get scraped.
but I took no chances and it has been deleted entirely from AO3. it was a somewhat... hmm, annoying decision but that's the ONE story I do value at this point in my life, so it's gone. I appreciate all the time and attention folks gave to it while it was up!
over the next few days, the chapters will be removed from this tumblr. (heads up to folks who know me in other fandoms, my entire personal blog will soon be emptied out entirely of all works I've ever done over the last ten years on here and in other places, this whole thing made me go 'nah' so it's time to clear out.)
with that being said, if y'all wanna save the chapters yourselves from here before it goes, I will say feel free! just, you know, don't post it anywhere. can't control what people do, but I trust y'all to not. lol
anyway, that happened, and thanks again for supporting it while it lasted!

Chapter Twelve: Back Again

The baby bag, which had begun to feel like another family member to Emma and himself ever since they had received it as a gift from Ruby, always filled to the brim with toddler approved snacks- I think those are meant to be given to Hope, Swan- which Emma had delighted in stealing- I’ve told you, toddler snacks and Emma snacks are the same thing, babe- lay toppled at Killian’s feet, having tumbled down from where he had tossed it haphazardly before they set sail from the small harbour only moments before, and when he knelt to retrieve it, Hope teary faced and reaching for him, something crinkled from the one of the outermost pockets.
At the familiar noise, Emma sat up from her place against the wall, Hope having crawled into her lap the moment she had sunk to the floor, eyes suddenly clear as she whispered exaggeratedly slowly at him- is that a fruit snack?- as if their children wouldn't be interested in what she was saying when the word ‘snack’ was involved if she said it slowly enough.
Hope cried again, her face scrunched in annoyance hands grabbing towards him- come here, little lovie, that was scary, I know, I’m sorry- whispering a broken plea for snacks against his neck, her curls tickling the skin on his throat, her speech less pronounced, softened as it had been when she was so much younger.
Emma shuffled Liam into her vacated lap, plucking the boy gently from where he’d been laying against her thigh, happily chewing on the corner of the rug- oh, baby, no, that’s yucky- and reached into the bag, eyes wide with excitement.
A veil of memory swam before Killian’s eyes, cool and refreshing, soft around the edges as the tension which had carried them away from the curse of Camelot cleared like morning fog from a lake, a memory of Emma several months earlier, pregnant in their Storybrooke kitchen, a scowl on her lovely face.
“Can you put this somewhere?” Emma had huffed in annoyance, handing him the bag of generic brand sour soothers- they’re better than the big famous ones, babe- her third that week if he’d been keeping track properly, which, he knew, he probably hadn’t been.
“Where shall I put them, then, love?”
“Somewhere I can’t get them, I’m obsessed. It has to stop.”
He privately agreed, but two pregnancies had taught him that honesty wasn’t always the best course of action, and he took the package from her outstretched hand- you’re a pirate, you have to be good at hiding treasure- raising an eyebrow.
“I might not have to hide them, Swan…”
“What do you-” she didn’t get to finish the remainder of her question as his smile widened in mischief and he dropped the package at her feet, her belly ensuring the task of retrieving the treats nearly impossible- if you can get them, then you’ve earned them, love.
“Wow.”
