Has anyone ever made a comprehensive blueprint of any of the buildings in House of Wax? I heard that there was someone who did, but I can't find it anywhere.
I don't care if it's for the museum, the house, or the town itself. I will take anything at this point.
okay...after having watched house of wax who knows how many times now, i have a new take on this post i made a while ago.
in the post, i started by mentioning bo's manipulation of vincent, due to him telling vincent, "ain't your work more real now? ma would be proud."
well, i take that back. i have two theories in relation to this now.
the first is that i think bo might've given vincent the idea to turn people to wax, but i don't think he had any control over vincent's actions. vincent was killing people left right and center throughout the movie, showing absolutely no remorse or any emotion at all for that matter. the only time we see him actually show any sort of response is when he's checking he can still make a wax sculpture out of paige after throwing a pole through her head. the man is unhinged. (still love him though)
my next theory is that it was actually trudy who started all this. i can't remember if this was in the movie or if it just didn't make it in (either way i know i saw it somewhere) but when bo is telling carly and wade about trudy on their way up to the house, he mentions how trudy wanted a whole town of wax. and then later when he's talking to vincent in the kitchen, he says they've almost finished what she started. this makes me think that they were essentially just doing what they were told, fulfilling their mother's wishes.
anyway, that's all i had to say. i've just been thinking about it a lot lately and i had to get it out somewhere aha.
Ok it sounds weird but you should make one where Vincent reveals his face for the first time to the reader and how they react to him
My love for Vincent grows each day istg

You sat on the bed, corralled onto it by your boyfriend Vincent. You gave him a look, wondering what could be so urgent.
You and Vincent had been dating for little while. He was a loving, sweet boyfriend, but you knew there were things about him that he wasn't ready to share with you. You didn't press, deciding he could tell you in his own time. So, when he showed up with a determined look in his eye and practically dragged you to your bed, you guessed that maybe now he was ready.
"What is it, Vin?" You asked him, and he paused. He lifted his hands, flat up as he sat next to you. He sat on your left, with his right side towards you. You stared, watching as he began to sign,
"I want to show you something. Don't-" But he stopped then. He didn't continue, and you watched him sigh. You could hear it puff against his mask. He lifted his hands as if he was going to sign something else, but he stopped himself again. Then, you watched as he slowly reached for his mask.
You gasped a little when he did, shocked that this was what he meant. You hadn't meant to, and Vincent paused. Something in his eye shined, something that told you you'd reacted wrong, and you watched him quickly retreat his hands away.
"Forget it." He quickly signed, and you saw how he shifted to stand up. You were quick to grab his arm, to try to reel him back.
"No, no!" You said quickly. You hadn't meant to gasp, hadn't meant to do anything that would upset him. You knew, to some degree, how insecure he was about his face. He hid it constantly, never wanting anyone to see. "Vincent, I want to see it. I want to see you." You told him, and you watched him stop. His face tilted as he looked at you, as he looked you over. It was the first time you'd ever even mentioned it, and you watched him as he looked away. "I was just surprised. I didn't expect-" But you stopped yourself. "I want to see you." You repeated. He had glanced at you, before he looked at the wall. He seemed to think about it for a moment, perhaps building his courage. Perhaps debating if he even wanted to.
You kept yourself quiet as he lifted his hands back to his face, and you silently watched him pull off his mask. He hid the side of his face with his hair, even tilting his head away so it'd be covered. You could see his nose peeking through, and you tilted your head a bit.
"Vincent?" You asked softly, and he seemed to look at you. You gave him an encouraging smile, one you weren't sure he could really see. Finally, you watched as he slowly turned his face towards you. Most of it was covered by his hair, but you could see the scarring around his nose, his cheek. See how it trailed back towards places you couldn't see. He didn't look at you at first, and even seemed to be looking at anything that wasn't you. Even as you slowly took in the sight.
Gently, you reached out for one of his hands. You smoothed your hand over his, going for a familiar touch first. He reached for yours, giving it a squeeze, before finally his eye flicked up to you. Once caught on your face, he didn't look away. You were still gently smiling at him, and you saw the way his shoulders relaxed. You saw- It was almost a little strange to actually see the expression on Vincent's face.
You were so used to the stoic mask that it was nearly strange to see the relief on his face. Not in the way he held his shoulders, the way he moved his hands. You could see his features relax, and you slowly reached up to brush hair away from the left side of his face. You pushed it behind his ear, and you could feel the little breath he let out against your inner forearm.
"Hi, wow-" You said, giggling at the way he smiled. He was quick to hide it, to tilt his head away like he always did. It was his usual tell, but you saw how quickly he looked back. He scooted closer, and you could see the happiness on his face.
While you'd never asked, that didn't mean you didn't know what his childhood was like. Bo and Lester weren't exactly the quietest people on the planet, and they'd filled you in without even a request. So, you weren't surprised when he slowly signed,
"So," He paused for a moment, seeming shy at the question. "What do you think?" And you grinned.
"I think you're the handsome twin." You told him, and you watched him make a shocked sound, before a surprised laugh left his lips. You'd guessed he never would've even dreamed of hearing that. You could see the way it settled inside of his mind, and you watched him look away to hide his smile once more. You reached over then, a little braver than before, and gently guided him back to you. "Can I kiss you?" You asked, and you watched the way his eyebrow lifted at the question.
The request must've surprised him, even if the pair of you had traded kisses before, but he was quick to nod. He moved closer again, reaching to hold your arm as he did. He leaned in, almost all at once, before he slowed. Eager, you thought. He nearly stopped himself completely, before you felt the press of his lips against yours. It was soft, slow, and you were careful as you did. It was nothing more than just a quick slide, a quick press, before you pressed a kiss to the left corner of his mouth.
You pulled back and looked him over again, taking in every little detail. It was almost a little funny how much he looked like Bo, but, as you traced a gentle hand down his cheek, you could only stare. And Vincent? Well, he, surprisingly, didn't seem to mind.
