"We follow the comet," Dany told her khalasar. Once it was said, no word was raised against it. They had been Drogo's people, but they were hers now. The Unburnt, they called her, and Mother of Dragons. Her word was their law.

she was naked, covered with soot, her clothes turned to ash, her beautiful hair all crisped away... yet she was unhurt

Well she's played by a grown woman why wouldnt people draw her as a grown woman 😐
There's nothing truly that gets on my nerves more than this sort of thinking just ruined my whole happy day brethren. "They cast an adult actress" is irrelevant to the actual character. Fanart of Daenerys is fanart of Daenerys, not Emilia Clarke. Her being a child is fundamental to the horror and tragedy of her storyline I'd argue its of the most important parts of her character is how horrifyingly young she was when all of this happened. What a child looks like matters to the story. That is the version of Daenerys who endured those events. Aging her up visually changes the severity of what she went through. Thinking about and imagining what she went through should churn your stomach and moreso that this little girl is who people are calling "mother" but imagining her as a fully grown woman is softening the blow.
In the words of the illustrious @moonsandsmiles "everyone forgets she was a child and not only sexualize her to hell and back (thanks for the graphic assault descriptions and copious nudity, George), they also treat her as an adult, and judge her decisions more harshly"
