In-game it’s stated that exspheres still need to directly attach to the skin, and the OVA was never that great at sticking to the source material anyways :P

Hmm, I guess that would make sense..? Though in the OVA at least it looks like the exsphere is sitting on the actual metal and Lloyd says it acts as a mount.

Reblogging just for the sheer amount of effort and thought put into this rant. Kudos, friend! It was a great read :D I agree with you on alot of points here, and an interesting take on it. (I had a few similar ideas myself but I think you put it into words better than I could)

However I will maintain that seme!lloyd is fucking hot.

I don’t blame you, and I’m really over-simplifying here. There’s this big interconnection with right-wing politics and all that jazz that makes it so widespread. Of course, just because discrimination is part of your religion doesn’t make it right.

I don't know... I don't want to say that I dislike conservatives or, more broadly, Republicans, because they're not all bad. But it's just so stupid that it's like this.

And I agree with you there. Discrimination is never right.

Because there’s this little section of the Bible called Leviticus that’s filled with all these mind-boggling rules that a few denominations of Christianity that are popular in those “bible-belt” states take srsly while all the others ignore it.

Urgh... Well, I understand a little bit now, but I'm understandably upset about it still.
