“Does it ever stop raining here?”

It was always weird when they met. Awkward could be the word to describe it but still that didn’t feel quite right on Ventus’s tongue so he’d continue to search for a new one, however for now, it would work.
It’s odd to be in a place he doesn’t recognize but then again he can’t begin to tell you when the last time he was home. He remembered waking up in a world of white, and he remembered leaving promptly to find them, to find his lost family, only to find himself even more lost than he had been in the first place. There were so many worlds now, so many that he’d never seen before and it left him reeling with where to begin.
It was sort of comforting being in a world he didn’t recognize because it meant he was moving forward at least - at least that was something - some kind of progress.
But now he was standing in the middle of a city he didn’t know looking deep into the yellow eyes of his counterpart; his other; his mirror; his darkness.
He was taken back by his question. So casual. So normal. So off-putting in a way that his tone spoke nothing of their last meeting - their last attempt to literally bring about the other’s end.
What happened while he was asleep? It’d been a long time, right? And people change right?
He didn’t really want to rush into anything if he could avoid conflict. His body still wasn’t quiet keeping up with him since it was still recovering from it’s comatose state.
“I- I don’t know.” He started, looking to the other with the softest expression he could muster considering who he was looking at. “I’ve only been here a few days and it’s been rainy the whole time I’ve been here.”
