Yaël Farber’s production is a pure gem.
Digital Theatre is great for making it accessible. Best seat in the house.
Pay attention to hands. So much of the story is in the hands of the various actors.
And feet. Proctor wears heavy boots. Proctor is barefoot. Subtle, but so powerful.
Abigail is magnificently played. So much so, I can’t even really find it in myself to hate her!
Reverend Hale. Such a subtle performance, but absolutely makes the play.
Just say Yes, Elizabeth. Just this once, please, say Yes.
Elizabeth and John Proctor’s relationship is so beautifully executed, so realistic and true.
"He have his goodness now. God forbid I take it from him." The ending gives me hope.
Standing ovations in the cinema. I just never managed to uncurl myself from my fetal position in time to join in.
