We could be in a room full of people and be having a conversation with our eyes because we were connected. At times I knew him better than I knew myself. But there were also times where I couldn’t be myself because I was stuck being half of this whole being that we were together. I could only reach half of my potential. I had half the energy and half the time. So when I freed my soul from his, it was like taking a breath of fresh air.
The beauty of New Years is being able to see three versions of yourself. Who you were, who you are now and who you aspire to become.

I had to find the definition for the word “purpose” because I did not begin to know where to begin.
So it is a reason, for the existence of something or in the case of my entry, the reason for my existence.
As the year draws to a close, it becomes a period of reflection.
i know you don’t like to look me in the eyes, because maybe you know the waves are battering and your heart pounding? yeah it really is trying to get out and you’re being worn down and if you let your guard down, you might wrap me up and i might let you.
