Amy Van Nostrand. One of the most interesting situations Kimble finds himself in. Trapped in a psychiatric institution, he helps diagnose a fellow patient before eventually making a very daring escape. Lots of focus on Gerard, too. He finally gets proof of the conspiracy to kill Kimble and shuts it down. Consequently, a few recurring characters appear here for the last time. (We also flashback to the death of his first wife in detail.) Between both storylines, there’s a lot of nail-biting tension in this episode. Jan 2001: CBS Friday before CSI. DeLane Matthews, Agnes Bruckner. The emotional story-of-the-week–a recovering alcoholic mother tries to reconnect with the teenager daughter she abandoned–is good but feels shoehorned in. The rest of the episode–both the evil bounty hunter (Rex Linn) and the dedicated cop (Mykelti Williamson) confront Kimble!–is stellar. Action-packed and thrilling. Jan 2001: CBS Friday before CSI.
