Reminder that the biannual sale from @criterioncollection is still going on until the end of this month at @barnesandnoble. Get them while they’re hot! While supplies last! Limited time only! Once they’re gone, they’re gone! Anyway, #theinlaws on #bluray and #itsamadmadmadmadworld on #dvd. The former I rented on disc from Netflix a few days ago, having never seen it before. And let me tell ya, it’s absolutely hilarious. I showed a little bit of it to my BF @mycandle_space and he liked it too! And he hates anything made before the mid 1990s to early 2000s! Unfortunately, I watched the rest without him after we had a spat, which I now deeply regret. So, I’m gonna watch it with him again where we left off. As for the latter… well, it really needs no introduction. It’s one of the funniest movies ever made. Literally. It frequently shows up on almost every “funniest movies of all time” lists. It’s probably the only comedy of its kind. The Ben-Hur (1959) of comedies. There are very few comedies that have me laughing at almost every scene. The Big Lebowski and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas being two prominent examples. But It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World… comes neck and neck with those two.
