The same leitmotif playing when Helly R attempts suicide in season 1 and Helena takes the elevator to the severed floor in season 2 is destroying me.
In a sense, Helly is once again "dying" in the elevator, because she's not being activated when Helena takes it down to the severed floor. She's dying by omission.

After finishing Severance, I wanted to check out The Secret Life of Walter Mitty as it was directed by Ben Stiller and featured the music of Theodore Shapiro as well and damn Ben Stiller really has been this great director all this time, such a beautiful film, relatable story for an avid daydreamer like me and I hadn't realised Adam Scott appeared in it as well playing a character similar yet completely different to his Severance character!
Definitely a great film worth checking out post Severance!
Theodore Shapiro (the musician who created Severance's OTS) constantly talking about Mark and Hellyna's theme song AND referring to it as a "love triangle" is so important to me.
"I was sitting in my studio thinking: I'm very lucky to be doing this scene" [talking about Mark and Helena's sex scene in the ORTBO and Mark and Helly's scene before completing Cold Harbor]
