"But my face,” he continued, “you cannot see, because a human being cannot look at me and remain alive."
Oc : Baal
Beel's older brother from when she was an angel. After the war ended, he was captured as a prisoner and later rescued by Lu along with other angels. He later chose to join him and became king in the Goetia dynasty.
Oc : Satan
The demon who born from Lucifer's rage toward his brother, Arthur. He is the strongest demon in hell, and can destroy anything in front of him. Satan also has a lot of followers, but he cares only drinking.
Death
One of the Four Horsemen created by Lucifer, he is said to be a dangerous individual to be avoided due to his identity as the embodiment of death.
He accepted this, and thus kept himself isolated from others until he met King, Lucifer's son, who was like a younger brother to him.
King wasn't afraid of Death at all; instead, he saw meaning in Death's existence, making him feel good about himself for the first time. He began to open up more, especially to King.
He even promised King that he would have peace in his final moments. However, after King's death, murdered by his son Merikh, Death was devastated.
He almost didn't want to live anymore, not only because he broke his promise, but also because his existence had caused the death of the person he loved most.
During the Holy War, he collected the ashes of the angels and demons who died on the battlefield to remember them and to alleviate his own suffering.
After the war ended, Death created the Land Of Corss to receive and care for the human souls.
Although these things he had done to heal his heart, his bloodless heart could no longer love anyone.

NoAhNo ArNoAh
Noeye, I'm very curious about the heaven in The Ordeal. Is it similar to the heaven I usually think?
I didn't put much details about Heaven, so it might be like the usual heaven we all know. But I also interest in heaven in Divine Comedy, and I might check it out later.
However, Heaven is quite politically charged and corrupt, especially after Lucifer's fallen and Arthur, who jealous of Lu and made the story to banish him, taking his place. He often claims to act in the name of his God Fate, but in reality, he's merely using her name to make his action right, sadly Fate has no idea and no power to stop him cause she was powerless without Lucifer.
Let's just say she has no idea about Politics and governance, so most of those part is left to Lucifer, but now he was not with her anymore.
During that time, the angels began to establish a hierarchical structure, oppressing and bullying lower-ranking angels. For example, Mammon was bullied for his weakness, and Belphegor, the first angel born from the love of her parents (as angels are usually born from light), was cast down from heaven into hell by Arthur because she was considered a worthless infant. This also led to the banishment of her parents (Sadly they died, but Lu found and adopted her after that.)
Many years later, Fate realized what she need to do, so she sealed Arthur away and gives Emperor his place. But it takes a lot of time to recover from what Arthur has done, especially Lucifer who gave up on hoping to go back to his home.
