The Resistance Archive
There are many levels of archival.
The first and most secure is to contact us directly archiveDOTresistanceATgmail.com. Please submit the highest possible quality of digital pieces. Pieces submitted to this address will also be saved locally (in Canada) as an additional protective measure. If you would like to mail us physical copies of your pieces, please contact us.
We will not sell your art for profit.
The purpose of this is to document, distribute and protect art as the #resist movement happens. It’s important for us to be flexible in our approach. Any of these three things may become more difficult over time, so please keep that in mind when submitting.
Artist credit will be stored with us, but not necessarily shared in order to protect them. This is dependent on the artists, and we are happy to answer any questions they have. Artists, please talk to us about your concerns, as we want to ensure the integrity of your work is maintained.
The Resistance supports many causes across many intersections, and the purpose of art has many definitions. It is important, in these times, to highlight small local efforts as much as large, national ones. For this reason, no art piece is irrelevant.
Pieces posted online with open copyright will also be saved to the archive.
Pieces posted online with ambiguous copyright or where the artist cannot be contacted will not be saved locally but may be shared across our platforms.
