Just watched the Dr who special and 1. Did make me tear up. You don't need a plot that takes more than a sentence to explain or is original or that even makes any sense in order to get emotional impact, you just need friends who miss each other very much and are genuine about it. And, 2. The Doctor and Vash the Stampede parallels. Hm.
