" not all leaders require a throne or a crown "
family color: ruby family crest: stag family trade: textiles & clothing, horses as one of the newest families of the ton, the yues had to work hard to gain recognition and respect from the older families. in general, the ton is not super welcoming to new families entering the fold and the yues had to prove their worth. it helped that their name was attached to the finest textiles that have ever entered the english market. the yue’s textile factories are not only one of england’s largest employers but also produce the best cotton, silk, wool, and the occasional linen that is sought out by every dressmaker in europe. with such quality at their fingertips, it was only natural for the yues to enter the business of fashion, designing some of the most beautiful pieces that are crafted with the best fabric. And when the late queen made the yues her official dresser, the family finally got the prestige they so desired. another aspect of their business is working closely with reputable theaters, dressing their dancers and actors. this has made the yues close with the moon family. while the yues are more than willing to help the moons navigate their new lives as a noble family, they do not want to make this a permanent friendship through marriage. the yues prefer to look upward when it comes to marriage prospects, seeing it as the best way to advance their station.
