Sooooo I discovered some AUs after being inactive for a while

First up for Twin,

The Monster Lab AU by @etanow !!!!!

Tw1n (aka Twin) is made from a variety of metal Jax stole from around the Lab. Tw1n is unable to speak due to a incident with Jax and his voice box, and can now only play music to portray his mood and what he's feeling. For example if he's happy he may play some cheery happy song, but if he's angry or just overwhelmed he may just go static, or play some screamo, though static is more common. He does attempt to write though he doesn't have paper on him often. He doesn't have great balance due to the different types of metal and is prone to falling. He has several indents on his back because of this.

His right eye used to be cyan, though due to some... Unforseen events, he lost his eye, along with the ability to move his right arm at all. Yes it hurts, but he can't do anything about it because he knows little about himself because Jax refused to show him the blueprints. Jax is the only one who can fix him. And he refuses to go back.

RELATIONSHIPS!!!!!

Pomni- Tw1n tends to have sympathy and is often kinder towards Jax's experiments (or any kind for that matter) and Pomni was quite nice to him from the little interaction they have had despite her clearly being somewhat on edge because of his appearance, and his somewhat inability to respond.

Caine- Though back when he was under full control of Jax, he viewed Caine in a neutral light, he thought what Jax though. If Jax didn't like Caine, he didn't like Caine. But now that Tw1n is on his own, He doesn't like Caine very much, due to him humoring Jax and letting him experiment in innocent souls. Though its not pure unfiltered hatred like towards Jax.

Ragatha- Similar to Pomni, he is kinder and finds her to be lovely to be around. He often looks up to Ragatha despite them not being close. He admires her ability to maintain a positive outlook despite it being somewhat in vain. He finds her goal to escape quite ambitious..but he finds it interesting as well...he would love to escape and get away from both what he helped with and his...creator

Jax- Despite having created him, Tw1n has a extreme hatred towards him, and the fact he was blindly told these experiments were "humane" and "completely safe" despite them being the furthest from that. He was under complete control of Jax, like a mindless...object until he was harmed gravely himself by Jax. Before the incident and realization he looked up to Jax, wanting to do experiments like him, often following him around like a puppy. He never wants to see his creator's stupid smug face again, but its difficult considering he sees that stupid purple rabbits handiwork in the mirror each morning. He wants nothing more than to watch Jax crash and burn at his feet, however he refuses to stoop down to Jax's level again. Never again. He's a curious soul, and it's coded into him. That's not the case anymore. He's still highly curious yes, but ashamed of what he has done and has sworn off experiments all together because of Jax.

Gangle- One of the only ones Tw1n views as an actual close friend. Despite him not being able to talk, him and Gangle get along quite well, due to their shared love of Fanfiction and written works (As well as writing said fanfiction). How they first met is a mystery. Gangle is able to tell what he's trying to say or what is mood is easier than the others due to them being close friends.

Kinger- He hasn't talked to Kinger often, usually due to the clay golem freaking out because of his (often silent) appearances. Though Gangle talks fondly of him, Tw1n has decided to not form a opinion on him yet. Though it is leaning toward the positive side.

Bubble- It's bubble. What else can he say? Its...its just Bubble.

Zooble- Tw1n finds them to be somewhat of a friend. Key word Somewhat. He finds Zooble to be somewhat cold to him, but he admires their protection over Gangle, and their snake leg is quite interesting to him. He's highly curious about them and their powers, however he won't ask, due to him being intimidated.

Himself- It's complicated. He loves the fact he's alive, he loves the fact he is his own person now, but he's haunted and ashamed of the fact he helped Jax for the longest time. It's that stupid rabbit's fault he is even ALIVE. And it both infuriates him and hurts him beyond what his hard drive can comprehend. He takes drastic measures to never see Jax, including letting his injuries to neglected to avoid that stupid yellow smile. He wants nothing more than to be able to open up his chest cavity and move his components into a new body he made for himself, but due to not having the key Jax holds onto, he can't. He is his own person and he KNOWS that, however this body that was created for him isn't.

Tw1n views himself as both his own worst enemy and his very best friend.

          shin + canon divergencies/’shin is my oc now bullshit’

          - first of all im redacting bungo’s ‘shin malphur is a dregden’ plot twist because. i don’t like it and i think that’s enough of a reason lmao - rather, after jaren was killed by yor, shin continued on his path to destroy the dregdens but by using good old straight forward tactics of shooting the dudes in the face with the last word            - matt mercer cowboy voice can get the fuck outta here!!! shin is very very soft spoken and often doesn’t speak at all if he can manage it to be real with u lads. he has a very gentle voice normally but is absolutely capable of being terrifying with only a few words (you have been warned)           - he’s a lot taller than he looks, he always walks/stands with a slouch and often times is completely misleading in appearance. it is not easy to guess that he’s shin malphur, the renegade, by simply looking at him while he’s not in combat. he’s slim and lanky and easily over six foot tall but appears far shorter because of how he holds himself           - completely useless in social situations, lacks pretty much all social grace and tends to avoid having to deal with more than one person at a time because of it           - never - and i mean never - removes his helmet unless given absolutely no other options on the matter. it’s something of a paranoia thing and his helmet/hiding his face in some way or another has become a safety blanket for shin. he’s twitchy and uncomfortable with his face on display and absolutely hates it - if his helmet is damaged in any way he tends to use his scarf/cloak to distort his features. don’t try and take his helmet off lmao           - avoids eye contact if he can help it           - only has an affinity for solar light. can only and will only use solar energy - it’s almost always coursing through him in some way or another, anyway. his eyes almost seem to glow in dim light when he’s feeling strong emotions and he’s incredibly hot to the touch/to be around even in a neutral state

David (Dah-VEED) Mayer is a professor of psychology and is frequently referred to as Ziva’s ‘uncle’. He and Tanya served together in the marines when they were both fresh out of highschool. He helped her transition after she was medically discharged and let her live with him and his wife when her parents didn’t understand what she was going through and wouldn’t support her financially. 

He, however, was well off and had only recently received the life insurance policy of a nearly completely absentee parent. He and Tanya are incredibly close, but it never went into any kind of romantic territory. 

In fact, Tanya met Adina through him, who was also someone he was very close to considering he and Adina were eachothers beards. Her being a lesbian and him being very, very aroace. But they lived in a family who put quite a bit of pressure on getting married and having kids. So they faked their way through saying that they couldn’t concieve, so they adopted Ziva in a private adoption after realizing that a young woman who they went to temple with was pregnant, but couldn’t afford to keep the child. 

So they adopted Ziva Mayer. They kept up a very, very bare bones act of marriage till the family unit of four moved to California to be close to Tanya’s family again since they accepted Tanya for who she was (it was a gradual process). Not to mention there was a growing strain with Adina & David’s families with the continuous lying. So they collectively raised Ziva in Oakland California. 

When Ziva was nine years old, they moved back to the east coast after an explosive argument that built up over the course of a month happened between Tanya and her family. 

Nowadays he can be found teaching alongside Tanya at Johns Hopkins University in Maryland. And on his days off, he and his proclaimed niece, Ziva, can be found at Scifi and Doctor Who conventions in their homemade cosplays.

     Oli giggled drunkenly at a joke Maurice made, before yawning wide.      “I should go,” he remarked. Too much alcohol made him sleepy, and it was in full effect now, pulling at the edges of his consciousness. Such a lightweight! he berated himself. He smiled goofily at Maurice, patting him on the shoulder as he got up from his barstool. He toasted Maurice with his empty bottle before placing it down on the bar. “Cheers, mate. Was good to catch up. Some other time, yeah?”      “Oli, wait!” Maurice jumped up and grabbed him by the arm. Before he could even react, Maurice pulled him in and kissed him hard. It took a few moments for his drunken mind to come to its senses, and as it registered, he felt himself sobering up quickly. He pulled away suddenly, staring at Maurice in shock.      “What the fuck, Maury?!” Oli yelled, pushing him away.      “Sorry, that was stupid. I’ve had too much to drink,” Maurice apologised, trying to sound jovial but not quite making eye contact. “I meant nothing by it, just forget it.”      “I’m sorry if I gave you the wrong idea, Maury, but I-I... I’m gonna go.”

I've had this idea for a potential stage design for Epic rolling around in my head for a few months now and I thought it would be fun to make a model of my design to see how well it could work and find where changes would have to be made. It isn't perfect, but I like how it turned out. I used a scale of 1cm=2ft, but some parts (like the stairs) I guessed on. I put some "people" with their heights written down in some pictures for scale

The black platforms are meant to be for the pit. I don't know how, but I got the idea in my head that it would be hilarious if Apollo was in the pit for most of the show, came out for God Games, then went straight back. I don't know how well that would actually work and the pit would probably have to go under the stage, I just thought it could be fun

The small platform in the back with the door is for gods and gods only. It is where they can make their entrance and feel bigger than the mortals. I also wanted some gods (Aeolus, Hermes) to use a harness system and fly around on stage but I was not sure how I could put that in this model

I wanted screens on the back wall for the Gods to add to their effects, as well as being used for the "boss fight" name and health bar

The curtains are meant to be the sails for the ships, but will also be used for silhouettes in certain songs (for which I have a table detailing when they are put up and down)

The small platforms at the bottom are meant to be the ocean, so for Suffering, Puppeteer, and other songs, people will be down there. Also, I didn't cut it out, but about one foot in front of the main platform would be a trapdoor that will open in Just a Man for the baby to fall through.

For each saga, I thought they should all get unique lightning to keep to the style of the musical better, though for parts they would obviously differ, mostly it's for general themes

I have more pictures and sketches for a couple weapons, as well as Scylla's potential costume (which I may need to rethink to find a way too make it more imposing) that I'll add soon
