So @knottsberryfarm opened up for a few weekends for what they called #tasteofcalico and I had a good time remembering all the reasons why I run and it was a nice date. Pause your Covid politically infested drama so I can tell you what I did today. 😉🥳🍕 • Today. I learned how to use my juicer to make tomato sauce. I hate tomato sauce. I’ve never been happy with sauces in the store. Except one. And I can’t find it anywhere. 🙄 so I decided to start a journey to make a sauce I love myself and quite frankly I was impressed. • Additionally I tried cauliflower crust pizza for the first time ever. Equally impressed. Was it my sauce? Was it the crust? So today my buddy Fred was introduced to Nutella. We went to @louksdonuts (finally! Since now they open earlier yay!). We hadn’t been before. I could tell my buddy was thrown off a routine of SEEING the product like a regular donut shop but they don’t have them on display because they don’t actually have them until they make them when you order them and personally I think that’s great. My buddy was also kinda antsy cuz it was like 10am and he had a lunch friend coming at 11:30 and he gets antsy cuz he likes to be early and I get antsy when he’s TOO early and he gets antsy cuz I cut it close sometimes (haha) and so it’s quite an interesting cycle. I had to keep reminding him we have time. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️😂 anyways. Can’t go wrong with Nutella and banana on baby donuts (aka donut holes). If you haven’t tried them yet you should.
