His heart was racing. How could it not? He’d been planning this moment for so long, ever since the Mercenary had arrived in the city. He was capable. Kind. Considerate. Deadly. Chaotic. Kind of an asshole? Were these all contradictory? Perhaps. But that was what drew the Minus towards him. It was why, on this night, he wanted to seal the deal. He wanted to display to him just how much he appreciated the other always going along with his absurd plans and antics.

If not tonight, when would he ever have the chance again? He waited by the door, hands clutched over his chest. Hoping that the other would answer his phone summons.

Perched up in the closest tree to a window that was open, she had her gun out and at the ready---even if she could easily see far enough without it. It was a necessary precaution. That, she took it, was why she was graced by the presence of security below her. Looking away from the window to address him, she didn’t lower the gun, ensuring that if needed she could get something done without a moment’s hesitation.

“I’m allowed to have this, I’m not inside the party or near the manor.”

  She’d seen him before. The annoying man in red and black... what was his name? Quiet couldn’t recall if he’d even introduced himself before blabbering away. She supposed it didn’t really matter. He looked hurt, and that little voice in her head that sounded like V told her she should help. “T'áadoo sínítį́.” She mumbled under her breath as she reached to poke the man’s shoulder. Was he dead? Perhaps she’d only wasted her time.

     He can’t tell if Willy Wadeson is the last man he wants to see or the first. Oh well--who cares. The man’s getting pestered regardless of how King Knight feels about it after speaking a few words. It’s better than trying to flaunt towards strangers and get met with disgusted or questioning looks. How people could miss such a hefty hint of “please compliment my outfit” is beyond him. Again--who cares.

     The only thing he cares about is making his presence known through loud, somewhat hurried steps, and a stride overflowing with overconfidence.
