The German thrashers from Fabulous Desaster are back in 2025 with a new long-player. Fans of the genre are likely to get sweaty fingers from the band name contains one or two references to scene legends, since the previous album! As on the two previous albums, the focus is on fast and furious speed thrash songs with an extremely high energy level. On “Crucify This!”, the band is even more varied than before and, in addition to the typical high-speed tracks, also unpacks more complex songs and a mid-tempo steamroller. In the tradition of old-school thrash metal, the content deals with social injustice and moral decay in society, the horror and absurdity of war. When the odd fictional horror story sneaks in, there's even room for a pinch of humour.

Hailing from the toxic war-torn wastelands and neon-drenched retro-futuristic ruins of 2029, where acid rain falls, green slime covers the streets, and studded leather is a necessity, Atomizator first awoke from cryogenic slumber in 2015. Their mission was clear: contaminate the musical landscape with face-melting visions of red-hot lasers, sludge-covered highways, urban desolation, and atomic liquor—without firing a single warning shot. Their first full-length album, Nuclear Booze Patrol, was recorded in May 2023 at REC Studio in Geneva, Switzerland. Atomizator storms through the defenses of unsuspecting listeners, delivering a relentless mix of razor-sharp riffs, a pummeling rhythm section, and venomous vocals. This is grimy, no-holds-barred thrash/speed metal with minimal frills and maximum intensity, engineered for whiplash, mental meltdown, and thermonuclear intoxication. When asked to define their musical philosophy, the gasmask-clad, shotgun-wielding, molotov-sipping thrash commandos kept it simple: "We strike with force."
